XXIII: Royalty!

It was high noon in the middle of the castle battlegrounds. Shard, Lxve, Sky, Pierce, and Alice II watched as in the middle of the road, Leah and King were staring each other down, their blades pointed at each other. You could almost hear a pin drop as the moment got tenser. Lxve shot an arrow into the air, creating a black silhouette in the sky. The second the arrow landed on the ground, the five spectators were blown back by the sudden blast. The battle began with a fierce start, as King's katana and Leah's ice sword clashed with sparks flying.

The two swung at each other, but they could not land hits due to the other's swordplay. "I'm very impressed." King said. "No one has ever matched the power of my sword. Not overlords nor knights. You're the first one."

"Thanks. You're not half bad yourself. It's too bad that I'll also be the first to defeat you!"

"Not likely!" The swords clashed once more, but this time, Leah was launched back. She looked at King's katana to see it overflowing with dark lightning power. "My magic power is the power of dark lightning! And I can amplify it into my sword! How do you like me now?"

"I'm not into boys like you!" Leah froze her sword, turning it into her ice blade, and slashed at King. The ice and dark lightning blades clashed once more, causing another blast.

"Why does everything we do involve pain!?!?" Shard said. He fell onto his back and looked up. Sky fell on top of him, followed by Pierce, Alice II, and Lxver-Chan, crushing Shard. "Whyyy!!!??"

"I can't lose. Not here! Not now! I got my little sister back and I won't leave her again!" Leah yelled as the two clashed swords. King stared at her with a blank face, as if lost in thought. He shook it off and kept fighting. "I WON'T LOSE!!"

"Say goodbye!" King yelled. "Dark Storm Bringer!!" King summoned a small cloud of lightning and shocked Leah, filling her up with dark electricity. She screamed out and kneeled onto the ground, sparks surrounding her.

"Kneeling before your king?" King said. Leah was breathing really hard and smoking all over her clothes. She looked up at King, an intense stare in her eyes. "W-What!?!"

"Not today. My sister needs me...and I need her!" Leah jumped forward and turned her hand into an ice fist. "Ice Knockout Punch!!!"

I've never seen someone so compassionate about their sibling. King said. She has really amazed me, showing more ambition than most. Well done, Leah Genesis, you have done this king proud. Leah punched King into the ground, making a huge crater. The winds slowed as Leah finished her attack, defeating King CJ. She panted and held out her hand, and King grabbed it.

"Amazing battle, Leah. It seems you have won. Lxver-Chan can go with you."

"Yay!!" The five bystanders said. They grabbed Leah and congratulated her. Lxve hugged her, and the seven walked back to the castle. When they came back, they saw a lot of things on fire, including Noméré. They scrambled to find out what the cause was, and they saw a large army of people attacking the kingdom. Alice II got nervous all of a sudden.

"Oh no...it's the Ather army! With their commander Alex!" Alice II said nervously.

"What!? This is a problem. Who's Alex?" Shard said. Alice II pointed at a boy leading an attack, who looked exactly like Pierce.

"HAHAHA!!! Okay, troops! Take this castle, then take the heroes that defeated Grafl!" Alex yelled. Sky quickly healed King and Leah, and the group formed a plan.

"Ready?" Shard said.

"Yeah!" Everyone yelled.

"Okay..let's go kick some Ather ass!!"
