I came home seeing Ellie playing with her toys but didn't see Carlos
"DADDY!" She said running to me as I picked her up
"Hey bug sorry I'm late," I said kissing her head
"It's okay do you wanna play ?" She said
"Sure bug do you know where papa is ?" I asked her
"He went upstairs but never came back down ." She said returning to her toys
"Hey, bug I'll be back okay ?"
"You promise?" She said holding out her pinky
"Pinky promise," I said kissing her head as my finger interlocked with hers
I went upstairs heading to our room seeing Carlos passed out on the bed
I grabbed a blanket off the chair-throwing it on him
I changed my shirt into a hoodie when I head Carlos
"Sorry I didn't - I forgot ." He said
"Hey it's okay I got her get some sleep," I said kissing his head
"ty you just got off a 24 hours shift.." he said
"and one more hour won't hurt, "I said
"please get some sleep for me ?" I asked sitting on the edge of the bed
"I love you .." Carlos said
"I love you to " I said leaving our room
I walked downstairs seeing Ellie have a tiara in her hands for me
"daddy your to tall bend down !" Ellie giggled
"would you like some tea ?" she said
"sure." i laughed
