me and tommy were doing our rounds which me and nancy usually would do together but she hasnt come to work in 5 days so it was just me and cap
"Have you heard from Nancy at all today ?" I asked Tommy as I stocked the 4 gage needles
"Nothing I called texted left voicemails got nothing back .." Tommy said as v walked over to us
"Where is Nancy she ghosted us all week." I said looking at v
"Nancy's in the hospital..." she said as me and Tommy looked in shock
"Why did something happen did she break a bone or something?" Tommy said
"Um she tried to commit suicide..." v said as me and Tommy looked at one another
"She slit her wrist Friday they have her in the mental health ward at mercy .." v said
"Nancy wouldn't do that I know her ." I said
"They sent me to clean out her locker they said she's gonna be there for a few months and then depending on if the doctors think it's right she can come back to work .." v said grabbing the box of Nancy's stuff
"Did she um.. leave a note ?" Tommy asked
"No I just founded her in a pool of her own blood .. she won't open up to me at all ."
The bell went off for medical
"T we gotta get going ."
"Oh yeah ." I said
"I'll text you later t ? " v said
"Yeah okay ." I said getting in the rig
After work I headed to the hospital with some pasta Paul made for Nancy and some books and games for Nancy I knocked on Nancy's door and then opening it to see he look At me
"Hey i brought you some food and some stuff to Keep you busy ." I said putting it down and sitting on the edge of her bed
"Tk what are you doing here ?" Nancy said looking at me
"I figured since you gonna be in here for a little while that you could use some company.." I said
"Do you wanna see them ?" Nancy said looking at me and then at her bandages wrist
"If you feel comfortable showing me .." I said giving her a slight smile
She undid her bandages to expose fresh cuts
"Gee Nancy ...." I said rubbing her leg as she wrapped them back up
"Don't feel sorry for me please t everyone else does and I just want one person to treat me normally ."
"Nancy your my best friend I would never treat you any other way .." I said
"I talked to v and she's gonna come see you in the morning before her shifts and I'm gonna come see you in the afternoon after my shifts ." I said
"You shouldn't have to spend you afternoon with me ." Nancy said
" I want to and your not gonna convince me other wise play I need to have some time to tease you ." I laughed
"Jerk ." She laughed
"Okay so which game do you want me to beat you in first ?" I asked
"Monopoly or unsolved case files ?" I laughed
"One you will not be beating me and two unsolved case files do you even know me man ?" She laughed
