The kids were at a sleepover for their friends birthday party and I was waiting for Carlos to come home
My phone rang from Carlos's number
"Hey babe you almost done ?"
I heard breathing it wasn't Carlos tho
"Are you Carlos Reyes's husband?" A voice spoke
"Yeah who's this ?" I said waiting for a response
"Your husband was shot he ..didn't make it .." a voice spoke my phone immediately dropping out of my hand as I Burst into tears as my breathing rushed I couldn't catch my breath I was in shock my heart felt like I was broken into a bunch of pieces
Carlos's point of view
I got home seeing Tk on the couch crying I didn't think he would take the prank seriously
"Hey hey it was just a prank ..." I said rubbing his back
Tk lifted his head from his hands
"It was you ." Tk said looking at me
" I didn't think you would believe it because it was April fools day ."
Tk wiped his tears getting up
"Wait t .." I said grabbing his arm
"That's not fucking funny Carlos I thought you were dead !" Tk said as I held his arm
"You didn't know it was April fools did you ." I said
"I've had a lot going on today ." Tk said
"Why would you do that really Carlos out of all people how would you feel if you got that call about me ." Tk said which made me realize
" just leave me alone please ." Tk said heading to our room wiping his tears
