Me and Judd were the only ones up Mateo had been in surgery for a few hours now we were just waiting for a update something to calm our nerves atleast
The doctor walked out into the waiting area which was filled with only the team we had the occasional bloody eye,ball to the head the normal but majority of the time it was just us
"Guys ." Judd said as everyone's stood up quickly Tk rubbing his eye real quick
"How'd he do ...?" Marjan said as we all rubbed her shoulder incase .. well the inevitable happened
"He made it thru surgery ." The doctor said letting us all take a breath of relief
"He lost some blood but that's being refunded to him he should heal within a week or two he's gonna be okay ." The doctor said
"You guys can come see him in a few minutes after the doctors wake him up ." She said walking away
"He's okay marj." Paul said as we all swarmed her with a group hug
"I'm gonna punch him but then I'm gonna kiss him ." Marj said crying
"How about we save the punching for when he's not in a hospital bed ." Tk said
"We will have to see." She said wiping her tears
We all were waiting to be able to go see Tk but for now we all sat in the waiting room me and Tk in the back corner
"You get some sleep ?" I said looking at tk
"Yeah you make a pretty comfortable pillow ." Tk said with his leg bouncing
"Yeah I figured you fall asleep on me every night ." I said looking at him giving a smile
" t..are you sure were okay ? I feel like you kinda distant ..withdrawn .." I said looking at him
"Los were okay I promise. Hospitals just do that to me ." He said looking at me
I couldn't help but think about what Tk had say before
"Don't make promises you can't keep." Tk previously said
I would never leave Tk or even try he was his best friend,love of my life,my everything...the thought of even leaving him scares me I would never wanna do that to him and I don't ever plan on it
My train of thought got cut off by us being notified we could see Mateo
"Hey how you feeling ?" Marj said sitting in the edge of his bed as the rest of us stood at the edge
"Better now that I'm not impaled ." Mateo joked
"But now I have this huge ass scar on my arm ." Mateo said pointing to the scar that went all the way down his arm
"It's like you say Mateo the best superhero's have scars ." Tk added as everyone nodded there head in. Agreement
"You say that all the time a little to much maybe ." Judd said
"So you think I'm a superhero !" Mateo said
"That's a stretch to say that you got yourself stuck in a pothole next week ." Judd added
I looked confused at the team how the hell does one get themselve stuck in a pothole
"Long story ." They all said looking at me
