The adoption agency was taking Ellie back to see her sister while we talked about the adoption process
"You nervous?" I said looking at Tk as he picked at his fingers
"I'm good ." Tk said looking at me
"Your nervous t your legs bouncing ." I said grabbing his hand
"I'm nervous." Tk said looking at his hand how it was intertwined with mine
"You have nothing to be nervous about our papers are up to date and I'm right here ."
"I feel like I rushed you into this ." Tk said looking at me
"You didn't rush me into anything it's not like we didn't talk about adopting again things just kept popping up and happening like what happened with your ." I said before Tk covered my mouth
"Carlos not now ...please .." he said
" okay I promise." I said as the lady walked in
"Welcome back you two the girls are playing there practically inseparable which is good !" She said sitting down
Me and Tk laughed as she sat down
"So all your guys stuff is up to date so there is some stuff that you guys should know before you guys go thru with the adoption .."
"Like what?" We asked
"Madeline was a abuse situation so she tends to be very shy at first and she has her episodes so it's important that you two create a trust and bond with her so she knows she's safe " she said
" so we're gonna go get some of maddy's thing in a bag for you guys to take home with you till then you guys can go watch the girls ." She said leading us to a window where we saw them playing with blocks together
"They look so happy ." Tk said as he watched them play
"I'm glad we're doing this ." I said rubbing TK's shoulder as he rested his head on mine
"Me to ." Tk said
