After Carlos left I felt bad about having to cancel the kids riding so I wanted to really just give them a fun day despite the amount of glitter that was on my face that would take weeks to fully come off

" what do you guys wanna do ?" I asked

"Could we bake a cake for Papa !" The said

" I think he would really like that let's go get some stuff okay ?" I said

"Okay ." They smiles getting there shoes on

" so what flavor do you guys wanna make it ?" I asked as the kids sat in the car as we went down the desert isle

"birthday flavored it's the best ." Maddy said

"Ellie you wanna do birthday to ?" I asked

"Ya with rainbow sprinkles!!!!!!!!" Ellie said grabbing the box

" can we get edible glitter !" They said

"I think you guys have had enough glitter for the day " I laughed

"Pleaseeee eeee!" They asked

"Okay but if you have to promise to not get it all over me " I said

We got home and set up the kitchen

"Daddy don't burn the cake please " they said opening the cake mix

" okay rude and I don't burn stuff ."

"Then why does daddy make the food all the time ." They teased me

"Okay sassy much ." I said ticking them

"Daddy that tickles !" They screamed

We made the cake and I put it in the over for 45 minutes

"Kids I'll be right back okay can you guys clean up the left over batter ?" I asked them as they sat on the counter licking the bowl

" yes daddy !" They said

I went into the guest room and answered Carlos call

"Hey what's up ?" I asked

"Not much he didn't show I'm about to head home."

" I'm sorry baby that sucks ." I said

"T I gotta go he's here .." Carlos said

"K ." I said

"Love you .." I said after he hung up

I walked out of the guest room seeing the kids and the kitchen

"What happens to you to ." I laughed seeing them covered in flour

"Okay bath time I'm sure papa dosent wanna see you guys covered in cake mix and who knows what else ." I said

The girls just kept laughing

They sat in the tub together playing with their bath toys and giggling

After their bath I got them out of the tub and dried them off I braided their hair and got them in there pjs.

" alright Cmon we have a cake to frost ." I said kissing their heads

After we finished frosting the cake the girls ate dinner just in time for Carlos to get home

"Look at you guys all nice and clean you guys have fun with daddy ?" Carlos said kissing them

"Yah we have a surprise for you !!" They said dragging him to the kitchen

" a surprise what's the surprise ?" Carlos asked as he sat down at the island

" it's a surprise papa we can't just tell you !" They said

" why don't you guys show him ?" I said leaning against the counter

"Close your eyes and no peaking !" The said pulling out the cake

"Open ." They said

"You guys made this for me ?" Carlos said

The girls nodded their head coming to give him a kiss

"Thank you girls it's so pretty just like you two ." His said

"If daddy made it it would be burnt ." They laughed

" you guys have a point ." Carlos laughed

" okay rude much ." I laughed

A hour later we got the girls to sleep

"How did it go with your dad ?" I asked as Carlos laid in my lap

"I should hate him .." Carlos said tear running down the side of his face

"But I don't does that make me a bad person ?" He asked sitting up a few more tears running out the side of his eyes

"No baby not at all ." I said sipping a tear from his cheek

" t he killed my mom and sister I should hate him .." Carlos said

"It's hard to hate the ones we love were human come here ." I said hugging him
