I was sleeping. Not a big shocker, but... I wasn't next to my wife. You know usually, like most couples, will share the same bed as their partner, and we do, she's just gone on a work trip. I mean yeah I had our five kids and stuff but I just missed her a lot. Better to have someone else to go through it with but... I still have to take care of them and all that. And I'm all alone while doing it. It's a little stressing, I will say.

We adopted two kids and had three kids ourselves. I carried the three of them.

We adopted our very first child when he was 3, and he's now 14, gay, a literal sweetheart, and he's the oldest, so he's like the best brother, and his name is Jeonghan.

Our second child who I had is now 12, and she's pansexual, we have very similar personalities and that's not always good, she's the second oldest, and her name is Soojin.

Our third child we adopted when (after Soojin was born) she was just a baby, our friends found her dumped outside on a road, who would do that? So Ryujin and I took her in and it was a lot of work since we had two babies at the same time. Anyway she's now 11, and she hasn't told us what she likes yet, she's very athletic, definitely the athlete along with my other son in the house, she's the third oldest, and her name is Chaeyoung.

Our fourth child who I had is now 9 and he hasn't told us yet what he likes, (we're a very open household and love our kids for anything they choose) he's athletic too, definitely very introverted, he just doesn't speak much, he's very mature for his age, he has identical personalities to Ryujin which scares me not gonna lie haha, he's the second youngest/fourth oldest, and his name is Jungwoo.

Our fifth and last child who I had is now 3 and of course, she's too young to know that, she's very loud, pretty expectant for a 3-year-old, always full of energy, her favorite movie is Frozen which annoys all of us since she wants to watch it all the time but hey she's a toddler, and she's the youngest, and her name is Vivi.

A lot, isn't it?

Well, I'm a stay-at-home mom and Ryujin goes to work only a few days a week so she helps me a lot. But you know every few months she has a big business trip. And now she's in Paris. We can't bring the kids to Paris, it's just.. too expensive. And I can't go because I have to watch them and a babysitter just wouldn't work. Vivi is practically still a baby.

Wait.. is that sunlight?

Oh shit, I never went to bed.

I looked over at my phone seeing that it was 10 am.

Fuck.

I quickly got up, getting clothes on, before going into the bathroom to put makeup on and brush my hair. I sighed, looking into the mirror, thinking about all the times Ryujin would back hug me and kiss me so softly, "I have to get to work." And then we would kiss again, "I love you.." Ryujin gave her precious smile, "I love you too," before leaving.

I looked at the ground after the moment.

I missed her.

As soon as I was done fixing up, I went down the two staircases, overhearing Jeonghan. "Guys, mom doesn't look too good right now, I think she's missing mama a lot, so try to be good today, okay?"

Aw, I love that kid.

I walked out, raising my eyebrow, "I'm fine, Jeong." I tried walking further but I was stopped by Vivi. "Mommy!!!" She exclaimed, trying to reach my hands.
