Ryujin X Yeji - Shooting Star

POV | Yeji

I stared upon the stars in the sky as I do every night. My hair blew mildly with the speed of the wind as my head slightly poked out of my window. Then suddenly, the most miraculous thing happened. A shooting star! I gasped, leaning upward, and quickly gathered my thoughts to wish. Mentally saying in my mind, "I wish I could have-" My bedroom door opened. I blinked with wide eyes, looking behind to see the younger.

Ryujin came in, looking around my room quickly, and then looked at me who had the most stunned face on. "What?" How could something so coincidental happen at once? And I didn't wish for anything! Shit! I didn't wish for anything and there was a shooting star! I sighed, closed the window, and used the curtains to cover it. "Yeji? What? You can't just have the miracle just happened face on and then not tell me?" Ryujin came over to me. I was going to say something then raised my eyebrow, "Why did you come in my room?"

The other blinked, "Uh.. I just... well I was wondering if you.. maybe.. wanted to watch a movie... or a show?.. in here?" I licked my lips, what do I really want in life? How could whatever I want relate to Ryujin and watching TV together? Is that what I really want? Why the hell would I want to do that, out of all things I want? I gave a small nod and got in my bed, as well as Ryujin.

A few minutes went by as I was scrolling through Netflix to find a movie when she says, "Wait, you never told me." I utter, "I just saw a cat.. outside." Ryujin tried to climb over me, but ending up falling onto me, "Really?! Where!" I open my mouth, not expecting to be this close to her. I licked my lips, "It... was.. by a tree." The girl got up and went to window, moving the curtains slightly, "Huh, I don't see it?"

"It must've ran away.." I gave a small chuckle. The girl sadly pouted, closing the curtains again, and came back to the bed. I selected a movie, "Is this okay?" Ryujin moved closer to me and showed her whisker dimples, "Anything you want is okay." I look into her eyes. It's like magic happened. There was a shooting star flying in her pupils. I couldn't believe my eyes! Haha, except it was her eyes. I immediately lean close to her, looking into her eyes more. Ryujin blinked and then the pupils were back to normal black, "What are you doing? Are we having a staring contest?"

I raise my eyebrows, "Y-your! Your-" I interrupted myself by pausing and thinking. "My what?" Ryujin tilts her head, "Are you okay? Are you seeing things?" I blink a few times, "Yeah... I-I'm fine." Her hand held onto my thigh, "Okay, whatever you say." Her hand made me so warm, it was like those hot hand holders people use when they're cold. My mouth watered and I played the movie. A few minutes into the movie, I became a little uncomfortable and leaned into Ryujin.

She got the memo and wrapped her arm around my shoulder, letting my head rest just above her own shoulder. Ryujin's breathing was so calm and settle that I found myself paying attention to her breathing more than the movie. I still couldn't believe I saw shooting stars in her eyes. As I was observing her, again, not the movie, she looked down at me, "Yah.. what's on my face?" Beauty. I gave a cheekily smile, "Nothing." Ryujin tried to pull away, "Now you want to make me check," I kept her in her place, "No.. I promise there's nothing. Stay with me.."

She huffed, leaned back, then playing with my hair, "Why do you keep looking at me?" I answer, "I'm just thinking." The girl kissed my forehead, "About me? I'm so honored." I smile again but this time such a real and pure elegant one. Ryujin's cheeks became red, "Gosh, what are you thinking about with me?" At this point, the movie didn't matter. I turn my body around and sat in her lap, "Ryu, why did you want to watch a movie with me?"

"I don't know... I wanted to spend time with you?" My heart was feeling very light and soft, was this all a sign with the shooting star? Did I wish to have Ryujin? The younger licked her lips, "Why so many questions, Curious George? Is it because of the imaginary cat you saw?" I scoffed and she, again, showed her whisker dimples, "I'm kidding..." I cross my arms, getting up, and going to the door.

She whines, "Hey, we don't fight!" I pout and look back, "I love you." Ryujin bit her lip, "Yeah, I don't really." I twist the doorknob, "Okay, goodbye!" Before I open the door, she says, "Yeah, me too, me too, I love you." I came back and went back to her lap, "You can't miss a single day without playing with me, Ryuddaeng." The girl smirks, "Playing with you?"

"I mean teasing!" I huff and then she gave me that same look. "Yah!" Instead of leaving, I rested in her arms, and liked how her hands fit perfectly around my waist. Ryujin whispered in my ear, causing me to flinch, "I love this." My face lit up and then I pull away to look into her eyes seeing the same shooting star but then she gasps, "Yeji! There's stars in your eyes!" That's when I know, it wasn't just a coincidence.

I quickly, without even thinking about it, kissed Ryujin. The black-haired girl returned the kiss and then led it throughout. Ryujin pulled away, looking at me dumbfounded, "What.. just.. happened." After licking my lips and tasting her sweet saliva, I respond, "Right as you came in my room, I swear to god, I saw a shooting star, and I didn't even get the chance to wish. Then, I saw stars in your eyes and maybe I was seeing things but oh my god I can't help but think you're what I really want to wish for. You are so perfect and loving, I've always wanted you to love me..."

"I've always loved you," She holds my cheek. "I want to be spoiled by you. Dinners, dates, clothes, jewelry, makeup, hugs, kisses, cuddles, I want it all and you've already delivered most of it but I just can't help but think about falling in love with you and maybe that's what I am doing! I'm falling in love with you, Shin Ryujin."
She blushed heavily and said, "This is gonna sound crazy but this is what I have been wishing for. I've been wishing for someone to spoil and love deeply.. and the first thing that came to my mind was you. That's why I came to watch this movie with you."

I furrow my eyebrows right before we started kissing again and this settled down our excitement and eustress. Ryujin played with my hair and then patted my head, "I love you, my shooting star."
