Ryujin X Yeji - Protect 2.0 (smut)

POV | Ryujin

I was rehearsing our choreography with the background dancers for my solo when I heard wails and sounds that indicated that someone was experiencing excruciating amounts of pain. My heart stopped when I recognized those wails. "Ryujin!!!! Get Ryujin!!!!"

I quickly ran into the dance room next to the one I was in previously, while the staff was trying to get me there as well. Yeji was on the ground, holding her leg. Her body was shaking and her eyes shut, "Ryujin!!!!" She cried. You didn't even have to chance to count to 1 and I was already on the floor, next to her, holding her cheek, wiping her tears, "What happened?!!! What hurts?!!"

I was in pure panic mode. "My leg!!!" She laid her head against me, still shaking, but allowed me to pull up her pant leg, "What happened, Yeji?!" She struggled, "I-I.. collapsed... and m-my, my, ahhhh!" I was just gently rubbing it to see and she reacted that way so I removed it, "Okay, okay. Call the ambulance!" I yelled out to the staff, who by the way, were still filming. I knew they weren't able to get a stretcher up here fast so I carefully picked up the older woman, and asked Lia and Chaeryeong to find something to temporarily wrap her leg in to cause less pain.

Yeji held onto me tight, "I-I.. can't.. have.. an injury..." I looked her in the eyes, my nose slightly touching hers, "Hey, that doesn't matter right now. What matters is that we get you to the hospital, okay? I'll get you there, Yeddeong, you just have to try to stay calm, okay?" I caressed her waist as Lia and Chaeryeong wrapped her leg which she was painfully screaming at and Yuna was holding her head, trying to keep her as calm as possible like well we all wanted.

I didn't like that they were still filming this. "Hey! Cut the cameras, please. Please do not share all of that until she gives the okay, alright?" The camera crew shrugged and stopped recording. I felt a little bad since that was just their job. By now, we were all in the elevator, taking care of our leader. When the doors opened, the doors to the lobby were also open, and a stretcher was present.

It was hard for me to let my girlfriend go into someone else's care but it was what needed to be done. The paramedic asked, "Will you be riding with her?" I looked at the others and they nodded, telling me to go ahead, and before anyone could tell me no, I nodded my head vigorously. It was so rough for me emotionally to be in the ambulance watching them check her vitals and ask what had happened. "S-she fell... and hurt her leg... that's what she told me..."

Yeji nodded, and in the midst of it, she looked at me, reaching out for my hand because she knew that I was worried for her.

| 1 hour later |

"Okay, hello Miss. Shin, so, Miss. Hwang has fractured several bones in her leg, however, the wrap you had made for her leg saved her by cutting off the circulation preventing her from internal bleeding. We want to keep her for observation overnight and make sure that she has stopped internally bleeding permanently, and then she should be good to go, which means being released. Like any broken bone, she will be limited in what she does, she'll have crutches, and eventually a walking boot. We have provided her with those things and we have put the cast on. You may see her now if you'd like and if you have questions, don't hesitate to ask, my name is Dr. Lee."

"Okay, thank you so much!" I furrow my eyebrows to the doctor before entering Yeji's room. Her leg definitely had the cast on it and I knew that was one of her worst fears. Jeopardizing her career, that is. "Hey..." She says lowly. I licked my lips, sitting next to her on a stool, "You know about everything that happened, right?" Yeji nods, "Yes... it makes sense. We were dancing so hard and you know, I hadn't felt right all day, and then I became so tired, I collapsed, broke my leg, and that's where the something inside me finally happened. I don't know, the nurse explained it better than I did."
