I avoided her for a few days.

And trust me.

It's hard to avoid somebody you live with.

I mean imagine trying to eat or going to the bathroom, they're always there too.

I think Ryujin is avoiding me too.

I don't know what to think.

At least I was finally getting feeling back in my legs.

And technically we didn't break our promise. My period started right after we had sex which is probably the reason my period started given that my uterus was actually fucked.

I'm pretty sure she knows my period started because well there's pads and tampons in the trash can.

Ryujin notices everything.

That's why it felt so bizarre that she couldn't tell that I was in pain.

She must've had a hunch, right?

I hope so.

I went downstairs to grab breakfast.

I very quickly grabbed my plate and began heading up the stairs when I finally grabbed everything.

"Hey girls let's go shopping today," My step-mom said.

I looked back, "I have-"

My step-mom interrupted, "Whatever it is, it can wait, this is very important."

I blink.

"Shopping can be very important?" Ryujin scoffs.

I clenched my fists, "Take that back."

"Whatever, brat."

She called me a brat in front of her own mother.

I hissed, "Get off my back."

Ryujin's mom spoke, "Woah, you guys, you just get a relationship with each other and now you're at each others throats again?"

My step-sister took a bite of her toast, "We're completely opposite, what makes you think I wanna be hanging out with a preppy annoying brat?"

My heart was shattering.

How could the Ryujin I know now say something like the old Ryujin would say?

"Shin Ryujin, I swear-"

I interrupt, "You know, I would love to go shopping with you, unlike your other ungrateful daughter."

"Ungrateful?" She scoffs.

"Yeah, you sure don't listen either," I fire back at her.

Ryujin blinked, looking at her plate.

Why is my heart hurting like this?

Why am I about to cry?

My step-mom cleared her throat, "Alright... before I go into this, can one of you explain why I found my very expensive vase shattered this morning? Someone attempting to clean the glass up and forgetting to take it out?"

Ryujin.

She shattered the vase?

"You know I hope whoever you of you two did it covered your hands because that glass is brutal, I cut myself trying to open the bag."
