I looked at the girl across the room, looking so pretty, and it was so effortless. That girl was my girlfriend. Her name is Hwang Yeji. We've been dating for two years and I still can't help but stare at her making myself blush. Lia nudged me, "The board is up there, not over there." I chuckled and realized I was caught. Yeji heard me chuckle and she looked over at me. Lia punched my shoulder and my face was really red. I whispered, "Shh!" Lia smiled and gave me the notes.

After class, I got up and saw my girlfriend surrounded by all her friends. I looked down and went off without her. I was used to it I guess. She's popular after all. I have to accept that. And I've taken some fame myself. I'm just known as the popular girl's girlfriend and they were really shocked when they realized Yeji was gay. I was just known as the weird gay kid but I didn't really care about it. I just wish I was seen as me. Yeji saw me as me and that's what I love about her.

I sighed, going off to the gym. I opened the locker room door and sat down my bag. Suddenly, I felt a pair of arms around my waist. It was Yeji. I hugged her a little quick and pulled away. Yeji blinked, looking at me as I walked out. I felt guilty for doing that and smacked my forehead. Dumbass. I was on the bleachers now sitting with my friend. "Hey, Ryujin!" Sana says excitingly. I laid my head on her shoulder and sighed, "Is it bad that I don't like how much attention my girlfriend gets?"

Sana hugged me, patting my back, "Oh Ryu.. no, it's not at all bad. Everyone has feelings. I'm glad you expressed them to me. I mean I see what you mean.. it sounds like a tricky situation. I mean if I were you, I would feel the same way. Maybe it's best you talk to Yeji about it, you know tell her your feelings. Only when you're ready to though." I nodded, just holding her tight because I needed it. I could feel her smile and then I smiled, then noticed Yeji. She was blankly staring at me. She looked confused, hurt, irritated, jealous, and numb all at the same time.

Yeji was standing still with all her friends around her probably talking to her but she wasn't paying attention. Yeji bit her lip and looked at her friend, I could see her mouth "What?" so I knew she wasn't paying attention. I pulled away from Sana's hug there and Sana looked at me, "You okay? Be honest Ryu." I held Sana's hand, "I'm fine, Sana." Yes, I lied. "You sure?" I nodded. It's not that hard to lie. It was pretty much easy. I smiled and Sana wrapped her arm around me, giving me a side hug.

I saw in the corner of my eye, the girl staring at me once again. I ignored it, almost liking the feeling of doing it since she's done it so many times to me. I don't like being ignored, I never have. Yeji looked pissed now and their group started playing volleyball.

Yeji was hitting the ball hard, sometimes way too hard, and she was mad. Some of her friends noticed it, saying things like "Take an easy, Yej" and "Little hard.." But that didn't stop her. Eventually, Sana and I's group began an activity so I put the situation in the back of my head and focused on it.

At the end of class, we all went back to the locker rooms, and I grabbed my bag. Yeji came in and she looked at me. We hadn't spoken to each other today besides sending our daily streaks. Yeji gripped my arm as I was trying to walk out. She pulled me back to where I was staying and my heart was beating fast. She looked so stern with her eyebrows so wrinkled. I could tell she was angry. "Stay," She said. I gulped, waiting for the other girls to leave the room. "Stop avoiding me. I don't like it." Yeji says.

I don't like when you do it either. I huffed, "What about me, Yeji? You know what, never mind." I got out of her grip and walked out, going to Sana quickly. "She always forgets about me.." I grumbled. Sana was about to say something but the bell rang, "Ryu, I'll talk to you after school. Don't do something dumb." Sure. I nodded, walking off to my class. Fuck, Yeji's in this class too. Yeji suddenly caught up to me and it scared me a bit, I must say. "What's going on?" She pulled me into the bathrooms.
