let the stars fall, darling.
you can't stop them.

-

and maybe i look pitiful
shivering under the night sky
but i'm cold
and i forgot to bring a sweatshirt

-

i hope im home to you
hope when you soar home
you come and find me

this city smells of smoke and salt
from the sea, two hours away
and i don't know how it got here

-

the truth is that
we're the teenagers our parents warned us about
and it's just as bad as they said

-

everything is slowly killing you anyways
why not let it be me

-

it wasn't personal
you were just there

-

after nine years
you're still irreplaceable
but i don't know if
i'm a childhood toy
to you

compiled from notes app, tumblr (@scribbled-dreams), and unpublished drafts.

might turn some of these into full poems, probably won't.
