Always and Forever

Chapter 17

Hope wakes up with a pounding headache with a very confused face. She looks around the room and doesn't know where she is. Shes confused on why she's wearing a complete different set of clothes.

She feels movement by her side and yelps. Josie jumps awake by the sound, confused and scared "Oh my god Jo!"

"Well that's a good way to wake up." Josie laughs sitting up and Hope rolls her eyes. "Ugh my heads killing me. How did i end up here?" Hope says groaning and rubbing her head. "Do you not remember anything that happened last night?" Josie says standing up, walking over to her drawer, getting some pills and then handing them Hope.

"Thanks. And no i don't, all i remember is drinking with you guys and then...nothing." Josie grabs her water bottle then hands it to Hope. She then takes the pills and drinks the water.

"So um after you got drunk you started puking and some of it got on your clothes. So i took you to your room but Landon was there and he wanted to sleep there with you because Rafael was busy in his room with Maya."

Hope rubs her head "I told him that i wasn't going to leave you with him while you were drunk, so i took you to my room, changed you and put you to bed." Hope smiles, she's glad that Josie was there to take care of her.

"Thank you." She gets up and wraps her arms around Josie then rests her head on her shoulder. For some reason Josie got a weird feeling in her stomach at Hopes touch but decided to ignore it.

They pull apart and Josie sighs "You should go see Landon. I'm sure he's waiting to see you." Josie wonders why saying this to Hope bothers her so much. Hope nods "Yeah i actually will once i get changed, do you mind if i take these with me?"

Hope asks grabbing her things and walking towards the door with Josie following her.

"No no not at all." She says smiling, Hope hugs her and thanks her for letting her stay with her, then she leaves.

Josie sighs and falls onto her bed shutting her eyes.

Hope gets to her door and hesitates to open it. She doesn't even know what to say if she sees Landon. She takes a deep sigh and opens the door walking in. She expected Landon to be sleeping but he wasn't.

He was sitting on her bed fiddling with his hands. He looks up at her and stands up.

"Landon." Hope says

"Hope I'm so sorry." In this moment she forgets all the anger and sadness he had given her when he left.

So she ran up to him, put her hands on each side of his face and kissed him. Landon was surprised by the action but wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed back.

Landon pulls apart and he smiles "Well that was unexpected." He says, Hope laughs and kisses him again. They pull apart and they lay on the bed getting ready to cuddle with Hope completely ignoring all of the stuff he put her through when he left.

After a while of cuddling and talking they decided it was time to get some lunch.

Josie had just woken up, she had a small headache, shes guessing it was because she was drinking a bit last night. She hadn't eaten since the party, so she decided to go get some food with Lizzie. She gets her things and texts lizzie, she responds pretty fast and agrees to get lunch with her.

Josie goes down stairs and waits for Lizzie to come down.

Josie hears footsteps coming down and looks up, she expects to see Lizzie but instead sees Landon and Hope holding hands. Josie feels upset at seeing them together. This time she thought Hope would still be mad at Landon. But she wasnt, she was back with him again forgetting she was ever mad about it.

Then again she isn't surprised, no matter what Landon does Hope will always go back to him. Josie looks away quickly and keeps her head down hoping Lizzie would be coming down soon. After Hope and Landon got down and walked into the cafeteria Lizzie comes down the stairs.

"Hello my dearest sister, I suppose you were the one who summoned me." Lizzie says like as if she were british. Josie laughs putting her hands inside her pockets. "Cmon let's go eat." Josie says Lizzie walks into the cafeteria and Josie stops walking "Where are you going?"

Lizzie makes a face of concern "To eat. Duh."

Josie rolls her eyes "Don't DUH me, we're not eating here." Lizzie tilts her head to the side "Then where are we eating." Josie smiles happily. "Follow me." Josie dangles her car keys in front of Lizzies face.

Lizzie jaw slightly drops and then giggles.

They walk into the garage and enter the car "So where are we going to eat?" Lizzie says getting comfortable in her seat, Josie turns the engine on and puts on her seatbelt. "Mystic grill." Josie simply says and smiles, then they drive off.

They walk into the grill and sit in a table, "Ooo i can't wait to eat!" Lizzie runs her hands together excitingly and reads the menu. Josie laughs, she reaches across the table then grabs a strawberry jelly packet, she opens it up and scoops some jelly with her fingers then sticks it in her mouth.

She groans at how good the jelly is. "Ew i don't even know how you can eat that, it tastes like shit." Lizzie says while making a face of disgust.

"Well your missing out Liz." Josie says finishing the jelly packet and putting it aside. The waitress walks towards their table, taking their menus and giving it to another waiter that had walked by. "Hi im Hannah and i will be your waitress for today, so what can i get ya." she says smiling at them with her notepad out ready to write down what they want. Josie looks at Lizzie waiting for her to talk, Lizzie scoffs and rolls her eyes "Can i just get a hotdog please with some fries and a shake." She says, Hannah writes it down then looks at Josie.

"And you. Who would you like to- I mean what would you like to eat." She says smirking at Josie.

Josie must have caught on what she was hinting at because her face was turning a good shade of red. Lizzie just looks at the scene with her jaw slightly dropped. "Um," Josie clears her throat "Ill just get a cheeseburger with fries please." Josie tells her, Hannah nods and writes it down "Ill be back in a bit." she smiles and walks away. Lizzie smacks Josie in the arm a little too hard while smirking "Ow lizzie what the hell!" She says rubbing her now red tinted arm. "Dude did you see how she was acting!"

"What. No." Josie says trying to hide a smile. Lizzie glares at her "She clearly wants to hook up with you. Ask for her number dude." Josie thinks, she then huffs "Ill think about it." Lizzie rolls her eyes.

After a while of waiting Hannah comes up to them with plates in her hands. She places it on the table wiping her hands on her apron and smiles "Enjoy! If you need anything feel free to ask me." she smiles then walks away "Jo you better ask before we leave." Lizzie tells her taking a bite out of her hotdog, Josie scoffs then takes a bite.

After they finish their food Lizzie goes and waits in the car so Josie could ask Hannah for her number. Josie throws their trash away then sees Hannah filling up some cups. "Hey." She says, Hannah gets a little scared and nearly drops the cup "Hi!" Hannah says smiling. "So um could i get the receipt please?" Josie asks

"Oh no dont worry about it. Its on me." She says walking closer to Josie, she takes a small paper out of her pocket then places it in Josies hand "Text me later, i get out at 9." she winks and kisses Josies cheek then walks away with the drinks. Josie blushes and looks at the paper, its her number and address. Josie walks out into the car "Ugh finally it was getting too hot in here. So did you get her number?"

Josie smirks "I think i got more than just her number." she says showing Lizzie the paper. Lizzie smiles "Wow." Lizzie slowly claps "Now forget about that, lets go home before dad notices we were gone." she says, josie starts the engine and they head back home.
