Always and Forever

Chapter 21

"Landon I don't understand! Who is he trying to hurt?!" Hope says standing up.

"Lan-"

"Josie." Landon mumbles with his head hanging down. "Wh-What? Why Josie?" hope is even more worried that her boyfriends brother wants to hurt one of her friends.

"He thinks that he could manipulate her into doing bad things for him."

"Why would you do that for him!"

"He said he could help me get my phoenix abilities. He could make me powerful!" he says standing up, Hope shakers her head angrily "Oh my god, I have to go warn josie." Hope says running her hands through her hair.

She runs to the door but Landon grabs her wrist and stops her "I'm sorry Hope but i can't let you do that." He says before injecting a syringe into her neck, she collapses but before she could hit the ground he catches her.

He lays her on the bed, he grabs his things and walks out.

He goes to someone's dorm room and knocks, after a moment they open the door "I got the location, did you do what i asked you to." The girl says "Of course i did. All you have to do is do the spell to make her forget." he says

The girl nods and they both walk into Hopes room, Landon closes the door and locks it.

"Alyssa."

"What." She says taking a bottle of Hopes perfume, smelling it then putting it in her pocket "Just be careful with her, even though i'm doing this I can't bare to see her hurt."

Alyssa rolls her eyes "Ugh fine." she then puts her hands on Hopes head and starts to recite a spell. Hope groans and opens her eyes then sighs and closes them, Landon paces around the room fiddling with his hands.

"Ew i touched her." Alyssa takes her hands off Hopes head and wipes her hands on her shirt.

"There. She won't remember anything about what you told her." Alyssa says then walks out flicking her hair at Landon. He rolls his eyes and sits on the bed. He looks at Hope and caresses her cheek.

A couple hours later Landon is sitting on the bed just watching her sleep, she twitches a little, "Landon?" Hope groans out, He smiles "Hey you're finally awake."

"H-How did i get here?" She says sitting confusingly "When you passed out from the pain on your leg, i took you in here and you've been asleep since." He says with some guilt.

"Oh. Is the monster gone?"

"Yes, Josie siphoned the life out of him."

"Okay good, how's josie?"She questions

"She fine, i checked up on her. She busy though so you won't be able to see her okay."

She nods "i'm hungry i'm going to get something to eat, i'll be back." She says getting up, kissing Landon on the cheek and walking out. Landon sighs and dials a number on his phone.

"Oh my god what do you want now?" Alyssa says through the phone.

"Did you get it?" He simply says. "Yes I did. Now we just give it to your brother."

"Good." He hangs up and walks out.

Josie opens the door to Clarke's room. He walks in and admires the place, he walks around and looks at Josie. "So this is going to be your room, my dad will help you get some stuff for like decoration or whatever." She says awkwardly.

He walks towards her with a grin, josie smiles awkwardly and backs up.

His eyes go red and his vampire fangs pop out along with the veins appearing, but only for a few seconds then he goes back to normal "Hm sorry I haven't eaten yet. Where do you guys keep your blood." he says grinning

"Oh um downstairs in the kitchen. You'll see it, i have to get to class. See you later Clarke." Josie quickly says and walks out.

He smirks and then leaves, he enters the kitchen and finds Hope sitting on one of the stools eating a sandwich.

Hope stops eating and looks at him "Um who are you?" she says confusingly

"Oh i'm a new student."

"Clarke." He says with his usual grin on his face "Oh well what do you need?" she asks

"Blood." He simply says.

He notices her confusion "I'm a vamp, i need blood."

She nods "Oh." She goes to the fridge and takes out a blood bag then hands it to him. "Thank you." He opens it up and takes some sips. "Yeah well i have to go, i'll see you around Clarke." she says finishing her sandwich and throwing her trash away.

He hums and sits down while she leaves. He looks at the blood bag just admiring it, he can't believe he actually turned himself into a vampire just for his plan to go through. Alyssa walks into the kitchen muttering a spell.

Clarke smirks recognizing that voice.

"Did you get it?" he says without looking back.

Alyssa clears her throat "Yes." She walks up to him and pulls out a sharp looking dagger.

Clarke hums taking the dagger admiring it.

"Perfect. Now all i have to do is gain her trust then stab her with this dagger." He says

"Why not just do it to Hope? I mean she's more powerful than Josie, it'll be easier to destroy malivore." Alyssa questions

"Because earning Hopes trust will be harder. Josie trusts people easily so she won't see this coming." He says standing up and putting the dagger in his pocket

"And don't tell my brother about the whole plan, just tell him you gave it to me and that we will handle the rest."

"Why not?" Alyssa questions, Clarke hums "Because i don't fully trust him, he's useless and he could tell people or josie our plan. You are the only one i need for this plan to go through." He explains

She nods "Now looks like i have to go make a new friend." He grins and walks out.

After a long day of classes Josie is exhausted, the black magic is still inside her and she has no idea how to get rid of it.

She walks into her room hoping to get a good sleep, Lizzie is sitting on the bed painting her toe nails "Jo, how are you feeling?" She says putting the nail polish away and walking up to Josie.

"You look very sick." She says, "I do?" Josie questions.

Lizzie nods and Josie goes to their bathroom, she looks at herself in the mirror.

Lizzies right, Josies face looks very pale, her eye bags are darker, her lips are dry and her eyes are red.

"The black magic is making me like this Liz. We need to find a way to get rid of it."

"Yeah i'll go see if dad found anything yet. I'll be back with some water." Lizzie says walking out, Josie sighs.

She then remembers the spell book that she had. She looks around the room and finally finds it, she quickly looks through the pages hoping to find a spell to get rid of the black magic.

But she couldn't find anything. She sighs and closes the book, she hides it in a box then slides it under her bed.

She stands up and starts to feel dizzy, then she feels nauseous, she quickly runs to the bathroom and starts puking. She holds her hair back making sure none of her puke gets on it.

Once she finishes she washes her mouth with water and wets her face. Then she hears knocking on her door, she quickly fixes herself up and walks to her door.

She opens it expecting Lizzie but to her surprise it's Clarke.
