Always and Forever

Chapter 18

After they get home Lizzie leaves Josie to go hang out with some of the witches.

Josie enters her room and nearly trips when she walks in, she looks down to see what she almost tripped on and its a box. Josie grabs it then sits on her bed. The box has her name on it but doesnt say who its from. She opens it and there is only a book inside.

She opens the book and shes pretty sure its a spell book because there is a whole bunch of different kinds of spells in it, shes never seen any of these spells in other spell books that shes read. 

Shes looking at the rest of the pages and is amazed by how many spells are in it. She finds some spells she likes and quickly learns them.

She flips through some more pages then hears knocks on her door. She quickly puts the book under her bed and then gets up and opens the door.

"Hey, what are you guys doing here?" she says as she sees Mg, Jed, and Kaleb standing there.

Kaleb sighs "Your dad assigned us to kill a monster, but we need a witch to track it down but Lizzie is hanging out with the witches and Hope is trying to help Landon learn to fly. So we came to ask if you would help." He speaks up.

Josie takes a moment to think, then speaks up "I'll go, plus i have nothing else to do today so yeah i'll go." Josie says, the boys smile. "Alright then we should get going now or else your dad will be mad." Jed says, Josie goes to her chair and grabs her jacket then quickly puts it on then walks out with them.

They see Dr Saltzman waiting outside leaning against the van. His eyes widen once he sees Josie walk out the door. "What is my daughter doing here?" he questions walking up to them with his arms crossed.

"I thought i said to not include my daughters in this!" He yells.

"Dr Saltzman we had no other witch to help us, they were all busy and Josie was our only chance." Kaleb explains. Dr Saltzman sighs and pinches the bridge of his nose closing eyes. "I don't want her in danger. You guys know what happened last time she went with you guys on a mission."

Josie sighs "Dad it won't happen again, this time i know some good spells to protect myself and to hurt them if i need to. I'll be okay." Josie tells him.

He sighs then takes a moment to think "Fine but please be careful." He says hugging her. They all smile then get into the van.  After Josie does her locator spell, they end up in some old abandoned building.

They get out of the van and get a phone call from Dr Saltzman. They answer and they put him on speaker  "So what exactly are we looking for?" Mg asks as they all look around.

"We dont know the name of the monster yet but it will look very big, it will have a red stone in the middle of its face with very large claws and sharp teeth. It is very strong and could also take over your mind so please be careful."

Mg hangs up and looks at them "Well thats not creepy at all." Kaleb sighs. 

They walk into the building and its empty "Okay guys we need to split up, Mg you go with Josie and ill go with Kaleb, We'll look upstairs and you guys can look down here." Jed says while going upstairs with Kaleb.

After a while of searching Mg and Josie come across a room that has a really gross smell. Josie gags at the smell and Mg's face goes blank, his eyes go red and black veins begin to appear under his eyes Josie doesn't notice so he takes deep breaths to get rid of it.

As they both walk into the room Josie gasps "Oh my god..." Josie says with a scared tone as she sees multiple corpses all around the room with blood pouring out of their necks.
