Chapter 29

Landon wakes up on the floor, confused and angry

he groans and stands up rubbing his head, he groans again when he rubs a certain part on his head that brings a sharp pain

he looks at his hand and there's blood, he runs to hopes mirror on the wall and looks at himself

there's a big cut on the corner of his head that's bleeding out "fuck!" he says, he looks into hopes drawers and finds one of her white shirts

he grabs it and puts it on his wound, the shirt quickly absorbs all the blood on his head

someone knocks on the door and landon freaks out thinking it's alaric

the door bursts open and to landon's relief it was clarke.

"there you are, i was looking everywhere for you- oh damn what the hell happened to you?" he says sitting on hopes bed

"that dumb bitch josie intervened between an arguement between me and hope. and well i got violent and josie used her powers on me" he says showing clarke the wound

"oh well, here." Clarke says walking up to him, his eyes turn into a dark red and there's veins under his eyes, fangs grow into his teeth and he bites into his wrist

"drink. we don't want anyone asking about what happened" clarke tells him, landon doesn't say anything but brings his mouth onto clarkes wrist

he drinks some blood and the cut on his head quickly heals "now clean up and get rid of her shirt" clarke says walking to the door

"what are we gonna do?" landon asks

clarke stops and looks back at him confused "about what?"

"the sandclock breaking. it could lead to making josie powerful, meaning if we try to tamper with it and transfer the magic to the dagger, it'll probably ruin everything" landon says

"god damn it! i forgot about that, let's go discuss this in the old building." he says angrily walking out

Landon walks into the building while Clarke rushes in angrily, he sees an empty bottle of beer that he had drunk last night, he grabs it and throws it across the room in anger making it shatter.

Landon flinches "Clarke!" he yells

"it's ruined! our planned is ruined!" clarke yells out angrily, he sits down in his rusty old chair. he runs his hands through his hair and thinks

"we need to make another plan"

"how are we going to be able to do anything to it without even breaking it?" landon asks

"for once in your life landon, just shut up and let me think." clarke says harshly, thankfully landon does what he is told

"we cant do a spell on it, we cant transfer the magic. there's literally nothing we can do" clarke sighs annoyingly

"maybe we let it break" landon says, clarke looks up at him "we let it break? are u stupid" clarke replies harshly

"hear me out." Landon says glaring at him "if we let it break, there's a chance josie could get killed but if it doesn't kill her, we could get josie to turn her back on hope. we could try making josie throw her into malivore" landon says

clarke looks at him with an eyebrow raised "aren't you worried about what's going to happen to your girlfriend?"

"i don't care about her anymore" landon says harshly

"hmm you know now that i think of it, that is not a bad plan" clarke says standing up, he places his hand on landon's shoulder and smirks "good job little brother."

"sorry to ruin your heart to heart but just to let you guys know the girls and mg are back" alyssa says walking in the old building

landon and clarke quickly look at her "how the hell did you find this place" clarke says walking up to her "um i just followed you guys, u guys suck at hiding spots" alyssa says popping a bubble from her gum in clarkes face

landon rolls his eyes "i guess we have to go back, we don't want them suspecting us" clarke says walking past alyssa, bumping into her shoulder

"what's his problem?" alyssa says watching clarke leave the building landon doesn't answer but shrugs and follows him

alyssa follows after

hope and josie meet lizzie and mg at the entrance of the school

"there you guys are" lizzie says

hope and josie awkwardly smile "here are the parts we found" hope says taking out the parts of the ascendant from her pocket and handing them to lizzie

"just give those to dad, he'll know what to do with them" josie says then walking into the school with hope

hope and josie go up to hopes room, hope sighs in relief happy that landon isn't in there laying on the ground unconscious

she wonders where he is but she doesn't care

Hope sets her bags down in the corner of her room "do you wanna just chill in here with me ?" she asks josie

"yeah sure." josie says sitting on hopes bed

"i'm going to paint for a bit but you can just do whatever you want" hope says grabbing her canvas and setting it up with her paints

"do u mind if i take a little nap?" josie asks

"yeah sure go ahead" hope says "thanks" josie lays down on her bed, she rests her head on her arms and watches hope paints

then 10 minutes later of watching hope paint

she falls asleep.

hope is silently painting, she sticks her tongue out a bit when she's doing the details on a wolf she's painting

it's a white wolf drinking water out of a river under a beautiful full moon

she hears a small snore and looks back at josie

josie's leg is spread out across hopes bed and she has some drool coming out of her mouth, hope laughs at the sight and she continues painting

the silence breaks when lizzie bursts through the door "mikaelson where the hell is my sis-"

hope quickly turns her head at lizzie getting scared causing her to drop her paint brush, lizzie stops once she sees josie sleeping on the bed "oh"

"what is it lizzie" hope whispers picking up her paint brush

"my dad wants all of us down in his office" lizzie says

"why?" hope questions "i think we're about to do the plan he was telling us about"

"oh" is all hope says "wake up my sister and meet us in his office in 5" lizzie says walking out the room

hope sighs walking up to josie she stops for a second and she looks at her sleeping, hope smiles at josie then she gently shakes her "jo, wake up" josie groans

"come on josie, wake up" hope says, josie sits up rubbing her eyes "i was having a good sleep" josie says

"sorry. but we have to go to your dads office "why" josie asks sitting up

"we have to go to the prison world now."
