chapter 31

*josies pov*

I slowly open my eyes and i look into pure darkness, i try to get up but as soon as i move i get a stinging pain in my shoulder, i groan. my whole body hurts like hell.

"oh finally! your awake." i hear the man say, i look all around trying to look for him but it's too dark

"oh my apologies let me light up this room" he says and then i'm welcomed into brightness. it takes my eyes a while to adjust to the light but then i can finally see. i'm in some type of cave, i look around and there's a crossbow on the floor and next to it is an arrow with blood.

my blood.

"sorry for the arrow in the shoulder thing, just needed to make sure one of you were out of the circle" the man says putting his hand on his shoulder

"who the hell are you" i groan out, my voice is a bit raspy from not drinking any water

he scoffs "are you serious? you don't know who i am?" he says getting closer to me, i shake my head. he scoffs "ouch" he says putting his hand on his showing that i hurt his 'feelings'

"your dad who talks all the damn time hasn't said a thing about me?" he says trying to see if i know who
he is "no, how do you know my dad"

he rolls his eyes "wow. well let's start. i'm kai." he says putting his hand out trying to shake mine

"oops i forgot. your tied up" he says pulling his hand away chuckling

"kai... as in kai parker" i say hoping that he isn't who i think he is

he smiles "so you do know who i am"

my heart drops "no. no how. how is this possible. your in the other world" i respond to him shaking my head

it can't be. i'm talking to the man who killed my biological mother. "how the hell are you here?!"

he tilts his head and looks at me confused "how am i here? i've been here ever since that witch bitch bonnie locked me in here"

"how the hell are YOU here" he questions

it's not possible. we did the spell to specifically not come here.

"you killed my mother." i tell him angrily, he scoffs "ugh here we go again. technically i was trying to kill you and your sister but you guys got in the way of that. so technically it's your fault"

i look at him in disgust "my fault?! you were the one who drove a knife into her body! you were the one who killed her!" i shout out

he smiles at me.

creepily.

"you have my temper." he says smiling, "you're just like me. i can see it." he tells me getting closer to my face "i'm not like you. you're a murderer" i tell him staring him straight in the eyes

"soon you will be too." he smirks "i have some plans for you, niece." he says walking away leaving me in the cave tied up and hurt

i decided to close my eyes and rest for a bit.

i wake up to a lot of movement, everything is blurry because of the light and once my eyes finally adjust i see that im in a car

with him.

"what the hell. where are you taking me?!" i say my hands are tied together and i have a seatbelt on

"try anything stupid and i'll kill you." kai says driving with one hand and his other hand has a knife at my throat, i don't move

"okay okay" i calm down and i try to relax

"where are we going kai" i ask, he keeps his eyes on the road and says "you are going to see my childhood home"
