Always and Forever

chapter 30

Hope finds herself staring at josie for some reason she just enjoyed looking at her . they're in alarics offfice with lizzie and mg, josie was just silent. staring at the wall not saying a thing while the rest of them wait patiently for alaric to put the pieces of the ascendant together.

"dad how long is this going to take? like do you even know what your doing?" lizzie says standing up impatiently "yes elizabeth i do know what i am doing"

"it's just these small parts im trying to put in. it's not that easy honey" he says focusing on the ascendant

if alaric would have let bonnie put it together they probably would've already left the sand clock in the prison world. but alaric insisted on doing it.

so now they are all waiting impatiently

"hey jo you okay?" hope whispers to josie

josie looks at her and smiles "i'm okay"

hope felt her heart flutter when josie smiled at her but she doesn't understand why

15 minutes later alaric finally finished with the ascendant "i'm done, now let's go outside" he says standing up

everyone sighs "finally" lizzie says walking out of the office

they all meet up outside with a circle drawn on the grass, Hope is holding the sandclock, josie has the ascendant in her hands and lizzie is holding bonnie's blood in a vile. the girls are standing inside the circle while alaric and mg are standing outside of it

"okay i'll be here to help your dad just in case if kai finds a way out" mg says to lizzie

"all of you please be careful, just leave the sandclock and go. no exploring, no stupid stuff okay. that goes to you lizzie" alaric says looking at the girls and then glares at lizzie, she rolls her eyes at his words

Lizzie opens up the blood vile and pours the blood all over the ascendant. then she throws it in the grass. The girls all get together and put their hands on the ascendant

hope sighs "okay, you guys ready?"

josie and lizzie nod, they close their eyes and they begin chanting and chanting until a bright light appears

They all open their eyes and look around. Everything is changed. There are less trees and everything fancy they had at the salvatore school wasn't there.

Everything looked... old.

"woah." lizzie says looking around "where do we hide this guys?" Hope questions, she looks at lizzie and she shrugs

"Josie?" hope says looking at her "well we could find a good hiding spot at the school but i don't know where else" Josie says

"okay let's check the school then" Hope says walking away from them, lizzie and josie look at each other "hope we're in a different world if you haven't noticed" Lizzie says, hope stops in her tracks and looks at her

"and."

"we have no idea where the school could be. dad said that places sometimes aren't where they are in our world" lizzie tells her "well im going to where the salvatore school is in our world" hope says walking again, lizzie rolls her eyes

"i doubt it'll be there" lizzie says and she looks at josie, she just shrugs

Hope is starting to go farther and farther, josie jogs to her leaving lizzie "hey! wait up!" lizzie yells running to them

After a long walk looking around they finally found the school.

josie looks at it "huh, it looks old" she says putting her hands on her hips, just staring.

"weird" hope says, "the salvatore school sign isn't even here" Lizzie joins in. "let's go inside guys" josie says walking in

hope and lizzie just follow her.

"Wow" the three girls say at the same time, " this place doesn't even look like a school it looks like more of a mansion to me" Lizzie says looking around and touching everything. "Okay guys remember what your dad said. No exploring just hide the sandclock and leave" Hope says josie looks at her and nods

"she's right. Cmon liz" Josie says

lizzie huffs "way to ruin the fun" she says rolling her eyes. After hours of looking they finally found a spot underground. A place where they didn't even know that existed in their world.

"this seems like a really good spot" josie says smiling, Hope digs into her bag and pulls out the sandclock, she hands it to josie. Josie just stares at it for a moment, thinking about how much damage it had done to her. and now she was finally going to get rid of it for good.

She kneels down and places the sandclock carefully in a box they found. Lizzie mentioned putting blankets inside the box to protect the sandclock in there and so they did that

Josie closes the box and stands up.

Now we have to go look for the 2nd ascendant.

Josies Pov

After we leave the salvatore school well now salvatore mansion, we go on the hunt for the 2nd ascendant.

"I think we should split up, and just meet at the town square" lizzie says, hope raises an eyebrow at her "i don't that's a good idea lizzie. This is a new world, things could be in different places. We could get lost" she explains

"yeah and if we got lost dad would totally lose his shit" i tell her, hope chuckles and for some reason i just felt even more happier hearing her laugh

"whatever i was just trying to make this quick. no need to just gang up on me" lizzie says rolling her eyes

"Dad said the ascendant should be near in the town so we just have to look" i say walking into the town.

Surprisingly everything looks the same, except for one shop.

It doesn't exist in our world.

"We should look there" I point at that shop

"why there out of all places" hope says tilting her head.

"take a good look. that place just seems off and it doesn't exist"

"huh jo you have a point." she responds, my heart flutters at the nickname . "let's go check" lizzie says walking to it and we follow

after a while of searching lizzie yells out across the shop " I FOUND IT!" me and hope look at each other and run towards her, hope exhales when she sees the ascendant in lizzie's hands

"oh thank god. i was just starting to lose hope about it being here" i say. " let's get out of here" hope says, she walks out the shop and we follow

We finally get back to the spot where we did the spell and we all gather together. lizzie pulls out the vile of bonnie's blood and pours it on the ascendant. we start chanting and i start seeing a bright light appear.

then i feel a painful sting in my shoulder, i scream in pain and i get pulled out of the circle by a man, he grabs on to me tight so i couldn't run away.

lizzie and hope look at me frightened "JO!" lizzie screams out and before she gets to do anything the bright light gets bigger and they both disappear.

"forgetting to say goodbye?" the man says smirking and chuckles creepily.
