Chapter 45

We never can just stop time. Or take moments back. Life doesn't work that way, does it?.... No......This is what happened in their lives..... all the RC's were living their lives quite satisfied..... except the two!!! and the two were none other than our beloved unformed couple..... coupe??? are they?? no!!! how they can when one is not in a mood to get convinced by the other and the other was just wasting his time in pacifying himself that he is not in love..... he does not have any right over her..... if she is okay with ending their friendship then he won't force her!!! But deep in his heart, he used to feel someone piercing a needle in his heart when she used to meet some boy for marriage proposal..... He always showed everyone that he is the least affected person by all this.... he used to say it aloud in front of everyone that he actually prays to God that this time her marriage gets fixed with a nice man but only his heart knew what it went through these all months.... yes months!!! Months have passed away, but she never talked to him because he didn't give his best in convincing her.... thinking that with what right should he say something, to resolve whatever issues and conflicts they have!!! His heart knew that it yearns for her but his mind never allowed him to accept the truth......

Though indirectly, others tried so many attempts to bring them back together but always lost!!! Because she wanted him to come and say something soothing to her which can force her to forget his words, his prays he did that dark night...... Actually the night was planned to be harsh for Bondita, Veer, and Mini, but unfortunately, it affected Manorama the most!! Bondita didn't remember anything about the night and Veer tried hard to forget that night and he succeeded..... he made up his mind that whatever happened that night was just an evil ploy of that filthy woman who was nothing for him and his family..... he understood that the family was not at all affected by her dirty words..... her dirty mentality..... they will always choose him over her and the other such people!!!..... but how can he forget the night which had put his beautiful bond with Manorama at stake.... no, he can never!!! 

It was evening, the curtains of the study were fluttering with the cold breeze.... though the natural environment was quite joyful, but the environment inside the study was not like that...... silence spread in the whole Roy Chaudhary Mansion as no one was at home except Anirudh, Bondita, Ishaani and Koyali who was busy preparing for the dinner and the other three were sitting together inside the study keeping their hands on their head being tired of discussing the recent case they were working upon!!! Anirudh was sitting on his big study chair while Bondita and Ishaani were sitting opposite him...... 

Ishu: bas dada!!! ab mujhse nahi ho raha.... mein pareshaano ho gayi hoon iss file ko 10 baar padhte padhte.... ab to mujhe iska ek ek word yaad ho gaya pr koi conclusion nahi nikal raha h is case ka.....

Bon: haan pati babu!!! hum kab se kuch dhoondne ki koshish kr rahe h pr kuch mil hi nahi raha.... ab thak gayi hoon me bhi.....

Ani: I know you both are tired!!! yecase asaan nahi h.... pr hum haar nahi maan skte..... afterall we are barristers.... humaare clients ke liye mehnat krna.... or unhe insaaf dilana humaari duty h..... or vese bhi humne ye case bhale hi bohot baar study kr liya pr apna 100 percent nahi diya h..... and I hope you both know what I mean to say!!!

Bon: actually you are right pati babu!!! humaari nazrein yaha h pr humaara dimaag to kahi or hi chal raha h.....

Ishu (sighed): na jaane kya ho raha hoga ghar pr!!! muhse bilkul acha nahi lagta jab baba ladke waalon ko ghar le kr aate h Manorama didi se milaane ke liye or Manorama didi h ki mana bhi nahi krti..... 

Ani: suna h aaj bohot hi bade ghar ka ladka aaya h usse milne!!! or family bhi kaafi broad-minded h..... mujhe nahi lagta iss baar hum unhe apne kisi bhi bahaane se bhaga paenge!!!

They all sighed disappointedly....

Veer entered the mansion back from the hospital having his bag in his hand which he kept on the center table and threw his body on the sofa being exhausted!!! Koyali immediately came and handed over a glass of water to him and he too took it lazily and muttered thank you to her a subtle smile.... Koyali too reciprocated smiling..... she stood beside him silently fidgeting the pallu of her saree and gazing the floor.... Veer noticed that she was nervous of something.... he drank the water and gave the empty glass back to her.... she took the glass and tried to speak something but then stopped herself and turned around to leave but Veer stopped her.....
