"bahu kuch to esa hoga jisse humaara Anirudh bekasoor saabit ho sake??" Kaka helplessly asked as the whole family was gathered in the hall..... and Ishaani told that she was not getting any point to defend her dada.....

Bin: Ishaani, beta tumne London se barristery ki h.... itni sections, itni dharaaein padhi h... kahi to koi esa tareeka hoga jisse hum bacha paae use...

Ishaani sighed and looked down feeling hesitant to tell the only way they could do......

Bin: bolo beta... hichkichao nahi.....

Everyone was pressurizing Ishaani to open her mouth and tears were flowing down her cheeks as she was'nt able to speak those wrods for her dada....

Bat: baudi boliye na.... aap ro kyu rahi h...

Ishu: kyuki mein esa nahi kr skti apne dada ke saath Batuk.... mein nahi kr skti....

Kaka: esa kya h bahu, jisse Anirudh bach skta h pr tum nahi kr skti.....

Ishu: kaka sasurji..... agar.... hum.... kese na kese karke.... ye...ye sabit krde ki.... ki.....

She was stammering to say those words when Som went and kept his hand on her shoulder and said, "ki kya Ishii.... aage bolo.... ki??"

Ishu: ki... dada ne jo kuch bhi kiya vo shock ki wajah se kiya.....

Bat: shock??? matlab?

Ishaani looked at Veer with tears and he understood what she wanted to say and his breath too got heavier thinking about that while others were standing blank as they couldn't register her words.....

Veer: are you sure Ishu.... esa krne se vo bach jaega...

Ishu nodded her head slowly.....

Kaka: arrey kya krna h?? hume bhi to koi samjhao.....

Keeping a heavy stone on his heart, Veer uttered, "kaka Ishaani kehna chah rahi h ki...... agar Anirudh ko Bondita ki death ka shock lagne se mentally unstable prove kr diya jaaye to uski saza kam se kam hogi...."

All froze and kaka looked at him still confused...

kaka: matlab??

Bin (blankly): matlab Anirudh ko Bondita ki maut ka sadma lagne se dimaagi taur se kamzor sabit kr diya jaaye to vo bach skta h......

Ksj: arrey ye kya bakwaas h?? ese kese.....

Bat: kaka galat kya h isme?? agar isse dada bach jaate h to theek h na... or vese bhi... aaj kal dada ka bartaav esa hi ho gaya h.... vo humesha behki behki hi baatein krte h.... 24 ghante nashe mein rehne ke kaaran vo jab bhi kuch bolte h to esa hi lagta h jese koi.....

Before he could speak further, Som shouted, "BATUK!!!!" He raised his hand to slap him but stopped himself..... while Batuk closed his eyes in fear....

Som: tumhaara dimaag to thikaane prh na?? dada h vo humaare..... esa bolte hue sharam nahi aayi tumhe?? 

He turned towards Ishaani angrily, he grabbed her cheeks harshly and  shouted at her too, "or tum!! samajhti kya ho apne aap ko?? jo chahe bologi??maana barrister ho.... pr bhoolo mat ki kya rishta h tumhaara unse or iss parivaar se..... patni ho iska matlab ye nahi ki apne dada ki baare me esi baatein krne pr chod dunga tumhe...... apni maryaada mein reh kr baat kiya karo.... choot h iska matlab ye nahi ki kuch bhi bologi...... or mere hi nahi tumhaare bhi dada h vo...... choti bulaate h vo tumhe... humse zyaada pyaar tumse krte h or tumhe ek baar bhi esa nahi laga ki ye kya bakwaas kar rahi hu mein..... apne hi dada ko paagal saabit krne ko keh rahi ho...."

Ishu shivered at his high pitch and winced in pain because of his tught grip on her soft cheeks..... "I....I'm sorry Som.... please.... dard ho raha h...." while other's were shocked to see him behaving with his wife in this way.... and this time it was kaka who came and hjerked away his hand and slapped him tight making Ishaani gasp... he shouted at him, "dimaag to thikaane h tumhaara Somnath Roy Chaudhary?? arrey aaj tak kabhi iss ghar ki bahu se iss tarah se baat nahi ki gayi h or tum..... apne maa baba ka rishta to shayad na yaad ho tumhe... pr dada baudi ko to dekha h na?? shaadi ke 14 saalo  mein kabhi dekha tumhaare dada ko tumhaari baudi pr iss tarah chillate hue?? iss tarah bartaav krte hue?? agar aaj tumhaara bhai yaha hota na to kabka tumhe thappad maarke seedha kr chuka hota....... ye sanskaar nahi h iss parivaar ke..... iss ghar ki bahuon ko pooja jaata h... un par haath nahi uthaya jaata...."

Som looked away and muttered, "sorry Ishaani...." Ishaani looked at him with tearfilled eyes and pressing her red finger imporinted cheeks and painfully said, "kaash ye sorry sab theek kr paata Som!!"

Bin: ye ummeed nahi thi hume tumse Som..... iss tarah ki harkat..... arrey vo to khud bhi nahi kehna chah rahi thi.... hum sabne milkar use kehne pr majboor kiya..... or Batuk ne bhi kuch galat nahi kaha.....Tum bi jaante ho or hum bhi.... Kis tarah ka bartaav kr raha h vo.... Koi bhi dekh kr paagal hi kahega use.... Or sadma to laga hi h use..... agar court mein ye saabit krne se vo ghar waapas aa skta h to mujhe koi appati nahi h isme....

Som (in utmost disbelief): baba??

Kaka: sahi keh rahe h tumhaare baba....

Som sighed and looked away closing his eyes not able to bear such things about his dada....

Bat: pr ye hoga kese??

Veer: ye mein kr skta hoon..... kuch papers, reports taiyaar krni hogi bas.... Anirudh ki medicines mein hi check krta hoon.... to mere liye uski mental weakness prove krna mushkil nahi hoga..... vese to kabhi koi galat kaam nahi kiya apne poore carrier me, pr apne bhaai koi salaamti ke liye mujhe ye krna hi hoga.....

Ishaani didn't spoke a single word after that, she was just looking at Som in pain and he was totally unaware about her continuos gaze.....

After discussing a lot about the matter, the plan was finalised and they asked Ishaani to do the same, but Ishaani at last spoke ,"mein ye karne ko taiyaar hoon... pr usse pehle mein apni jee jaan laga dungi unhe bachaane ke liye... jab koi raasta nahi dikhega, tab aakhir me hum iss plan ka sahara lenge....."

They all agreed with her statement and got back to their works..... but Som was still didn't budged from his disagreement, Ishaani gave a last glance to him and went away to work harder on the case.....
