Anirudh and Mini were indeed not tied by blood.... but the bond they shared was above that bloody blood.... He loved her beyond anything else.... she was his only daughter.... only child.... she was the one who gave him the happiness of being a father for the very first time.... she was the one who called him "baba" for the first time.... so she has to hold a very special place in his heart.... 

Same was his relation with Ishaani.... not related with blood, but by heart, she was his sister.... his little sister.... his "chotii"..... the little one, which he demanded from his mother once.... but destiny snatched her from him.... but god is not always cruel, he gave him another little sister... who was also one of the most important girls in his life.... 

And today both his special girls were having tears in their eyes, one, because she was leaving her father and, another because she was asking to leave her father one day..... 

How can a man tolerate tears in the eyes of his loved ones.... he went away from that scene where his "choti" was crying.... but took Mini with him clutching her close to his heart, being afraid of that unfortunate day when she will also do the same.... will go away from him.... but the only thing came into his mind was, he will try his best to not let that day come ever in his and Mini's life...... he will never let her go away from him..... but little did he knew that she is going to go far away from him, from her family, very soon.... not because of "bidaai" but because of some other worst reason, and what can be worst than this that the reason will be he himself.... "HER DADDA"

Bondita entered Mini's room and looked the most beautiful sight she can ever see in her life....

Mini was sleeping on her bed clutching her dadda's kurta in the fear that he too will her just like Mr. Chaterjee is leaving her Ishaani Maasi... and Aniruddh too was sitting beside her leaning his back on the bed rest with his eyes closed keeping his hand above Mini's little closed fist on his kurta..... Looking like he was also sleeping in that sitting position, maybe because of the whole day's tiredness..... 

Bondita took her slow steps towards them with an emotional smile on her face and sensing her around him, he immediately opened his eyes scaring her..... she rolled her eyes at her foolishness for thinking that he must have slept when she was well aware that he can never sleep without her..... neither she, nor he can sleep without each other, but who knew that they have to sleep without each other very soon..... or we can say that their sleep is going to be snatched away from them soon......

She sat beside him on the bed and smiled at him, which he too reciprocated.... an unknown silence prevailed between the duo for few minutes.... they were just looking at their Angel sleeping there with a content smile on her cute face..... and not to forget the teddy she was clutching with her another hand near to her heart.... remember the one which her dadda gifted her for the first time, which she carries with her each and every minute..... They both looked at each other with tears in their eyes but with a smile and together bent down and kissed her cheeks and Bondita caressed her hair lovingly and then clasped Ani's hand in hers and broke the silence....

Bon: aaj aapse kaise so gayi ye?? mere bina to kabhi nahi soti....

Ani: kyun tum hi iski maa ho kya?? me bhi to baap hoon.... utna hi pyaar se sulata hoon jese tum sulaati ho..... or zaroorat padi to humesha esa hi karunga..... bache sambhaalne aate h mujhe....

She chuckled..... and he too....

Bon: wahan se aa kyun gaye?? aapki Choti ki bidaai ho rahi thi.... 

Ani (downed his eyes and sighed): isiliye to aa gaya..... na to use rote dekh skta tha... or na hi...... uska asar apni bachchi pr padne de skta tha..... bohot galat galat baatein aa rahi thi iske dimaag me.....

Bon (tightened her grip over his hands): galat kaha tha... acha hi to h.... pehle se hi taiyaar ho jaegi to baad me zyada takleef nahi hogi....

He immediately pulled his hands back from her and angrily glared at her....

Ani: ap please tum mat shuru ho jaana.... mujhe iss baare mein koi discussion nahi karna.... to tum bhi bhool jaao.... vo kabhi humse door nahi jaegi....

Bon: pr...

Ani: shhhhh.... I said no more discussions!!! 

Bondita was indeed feeling suspicious at his behaviour.... but did she knew that these were a father's intuitions which a mother failed to feel this time.... she shrugged off these questions from her mind thinking that he will convince himself with the passage of time.....

Bon: acha chaliye.... bahar chalte h.... Ishu ka grah pravesh krna h..... aap kyu uske liye parehsaan ho rahe h.... aapke to paas hi aa rahi h na aapki Choti..... or Mini ki bhi chinta mat kijiye, koi use aapse door nahi karega.... shottiii....

Anirudh nodded his head smilingly and the duo went out for Ishaani's "greh pravesh"....
