Chapter 76

 "Anuuu...." she ran behind him taking a plate in her hand....

"Anu... ruko...." she shouted again but he ignored and just ran and ran....

She shooked her head sighing and held her saree a bit high determined to catch him this time.... and ran with speeding up....

"Anu...."

"hhehehee!!!" he giggled and hid behind the sofa...

She chuckled and silently went behind him from the other side... and kept the bowl aside and scooped him in her arms startling him....

"Badmaash!!! pareshaan krne mein maza aata h na tumhe??" she picked up the bowl and sat on sofa with him on her lap...

He pouted frowning at her and whined, "Maa.... ni... ganna (ganda)" he made a face looking at the bowl... and spoke those broken words in his childish voice....

She laughed a bit and pinched his scrunched nose, "naak band karo... or good boy ki tarah khaao chalo...." she forwarded a spoon to him but he pushed her hand away with his little ones....

"ni..ni..ni..." he shooked his head on either sides vigorously....

"Ok... koi baat nahi.... mein na ye tasty sa upma Somi ko khila dungi.... Somiiii..." she called out her name loudly looking at him from the corner of her eyes...

"ni....mee...." he took her hand and gulped down the thing from the spoon not wanting Somiksha, his sister, to eat his food....

She laughed secretly at his cute antics but faking some anger said, "arrey, ye kya kiya? ab mein Somi ko kya dungi"

and he immediately gave a soft slap on her face with his baby palms and frowning angrily, said, "ni...me..." and started fondling with the spoon in the bowl....

she laughed again and started feeding him. And this whole scenario brought tears in someone's eyes... in zamindar Trilochan Roy Chaudhary's eyes, who was standing in the temple and seeing his grandson, Anay Roy Chaudhary's cute antics sitting in his choti Maa, Saudamini's lap....

He turned towards the idol and joined his hands..

Kaka: do saal ho gaye bahu ko gaye maa... ghar ki khushiyon ki pudiya to tune cheen li, pr badle mein tune Saudamini ko farishta bana kr bhej diya.... uske liye tera laakh laakh shukra h... hume pehle shak hota tha ispe... pr do saal se iss nanhi si jaan ke liye iska niswaarth prem dekh kr ise saare kukarm bhulne pr majboor ho gaye hum.... in do saalon mein khuch badla to nahi, pr iss bacche ko Maa ka aanchal mila h.... bas ab baaki sab bhi jaldi se theek krde maa... theek krde sab....

Somi came running to the hall stomping her chubby feet on the ground and stood in front of Saudamini keeping her hands on her waist and glaring at her with her small eyes.

Suadamini laughed knowing the reason for the little girl's anger...  she picked her up and placed her on her other thigh....

"aww....meri Somi gusshha ho gayi..." 

Somi turned her face to the other side showing her tongue to Anay... he giggled covering his mouth with his little palm and meekly said, "sholy..." and took another spoon full of upma in his mouth..... she whined looking at Saudamini and cryingly said, "me bi...."

"arrey arrey arrey.... mera baccha ro kyun raha h?? meine bohot saara banaya h... tumhaare liye bhi...." she kissed Somi's cheeks and looked at Anay, who again gave an angry glare to her for kissing Somi instead of him.

She again laughed and kissed him too...

It was noon when everyone was out for their work.... It's usual for Saudamini to handle both the two-year-old kids alone at home and the kids too loved her so much because most of the time they used to spend with her..... Binoy and kaka too used to stay at home as they are retired from their work now. Zamindari is handled by Batuk and Business was handled by Som with Anirudh.... 

"ba...ba..." Somi shouted in enjoy seeing Som entering the haveli and jumped off from her lap and ran to him....

His eyes glittered seeing his little doll running to him.... he knelt down to embrace his little lifeline..... "meri doll aa gayi...baba ko miss kiya tumne??" he asked kissing her cheeks and she winced pushing his face away as his beard pricked her soft cheeks skin and he laughed....

Anay looked at Saudamini and jumped off her lap and ran towards the door with the same speed like Somi... shouting, "ba...ba...ba...ba...." as he noticed Anirudh too standing behind Som....

But before he could reach to get the same fatherly love like Somi, Anirudh stormed in his study saying to Som that, "yaha kaam krne aaye h Som.... tum time paas karo... mein file le kr aata hu...."

Seeing his baba going away from him unlike his sister's baba, he became sad.... and Saudamini's eyes again filled up with tears... she walked to embrace him but before she could, another two arms scooped him above the ground.....

His eyes sparkled seeing the person as he clapped his hands in joy with a wide grin on small lips.... and said, "di..di...di...di..."

The person was none other than his "didi", Mini, who just returned from her school and witnessed her baby's eyes filled with tears again because of the same reason.....

She masked her sadness with a smile and brushed his hairs lovingly looking in the direction where Saudamini was standing smiling.... she rolled her eyes again as with the passage of time, instead of creating a bond with her, her hatred towards Saudamini just increased seeing her closeness with her brother, her dadda, and other family members, she still thinks that she is trying to snatch her Mumma's place which she could not bear in any case!!!

To drag Mini's attention towards him, he patted her cheeks softly and as she looked at him, he cutely said pointing towards Stusy's direction, "di...di...ba..ba...."

Mini sighed sadly knowing the situation and kissed his palms taking him away from there and said, "baba busy h na baby.... hum baba ke saath baad mein khelenge.... abhi aap didi ke saath khelo na...." she pouted at him and he immediately kissed her cheeks saying, "otte (okay)!!" and smiled widely.

She put him on the bed and looked at the frame and thought, "bas na dadda.... or kitna door rahoge Anu se.... vo aapke paas aane ko tarasta h.... Somi ko chaachu ke saath dekh kr uska bhi man krta h apne baba ka pyaar paane ka....mein koshish karti hu use aap dono ka pyaar dene ki, lekin aapke rehte hue bhi aapki kami mehsoos hoti h use.... esa mat karo dadda.... please...." a lone tear escaped her eyes but she wiped it immediately and went back to Any and started playing with him....
