Jessie walked in to see Bucky holding back John
"Walker, leave him be" Jessie warned, glowing a little. John turned and threw the shiled at her, hitting her face and knee, knocking her down while Hoskins grabbed Bucky. Jessie got up slowly, using her powers to help herself but as her vision cleared up they already left
"Are you okay?" Zemo asked
"Fantastic" Jessie snarled as her arms glowed brightly as she ran with a tiny limp to try find them all
"Bucky! Bucky! For fuck sake, James where are you!?" Jessie shouted as she found herself in a hallway, only to see Sam and Bucky then run out and upto her. She smiled as she almost fell into Buckys arms as her knee gave way from the injury
"Jump on my back, Jess. Heal yourself back at Zemos" Bucky said, Jessie nodded as she did with a hiss.
Sam took Zemo inside while Bucky and Jess sat out in the hall for a moment
"You scared me when you fell down" Bucky said
"I'm surprised you didn't use your strength to attack them" Jessie said as she glew brightly around her knee
"I could've risked hurting you even more so I couldn't... what did you see there though?"
"Tony's funeral... when I got back from Wakanda... a month had passed and nothing felt the same... me and steve tried things out for 6 months but um... I just couldn't stay so I ran to Tony and for those 4 years and a half... he was my closest friend, he supported me and helped me get through everything... that last thing I wanted was to also lose him and Nat in the same day... it hurt like crazy" Jessie explained as tears formed in her eyes
"So you saw his funeral"
"I can control life and death... sadly means I also feel grief if it was a literal weapon" Jessie nodded slowly
"I'm sorry" Bucky said as he hugged her
"I can also sense more than that... Buck... I sensed something really off with Walker" Jessie told him
"I know. We should go inside and try discuss it" Bucky said as he helped her up and they walked back inside
"Somethings not right about Walker" Bucky told Sam and Zemo
"You don't say" Sam laughed a little
"Well, I know crazy when I see one because I am crazy" Bucky said
"Ain't wrong there" Jessie said as she sat with Sam
"Exaclty, can't argue with that" Sam added
"Shouldn't have given him the shield"
"I didn't give him the shield"
"Well, steve definitely didn't"
"I swear down you two gotta stop arguing about that!" Jessie grumbled as the door was kicked open. Jessie got up and walked to Bucky as she saw Walker come in with Hoskins
"All right, that's it, let's go! I'm now ordering you to turn him over!" Walker shouted
"Hey, slow your roll. Now let's be clear, shield or no shield, the only thing your running in here is your mouth. Now, I had Karli and you overstepped. Hes actually proven himself useful today, we'll need all hands on deck for whatever's coming next" Sam said
"How do you wakt the rest of this conversation to go, Sam, huh? Yeah... should I put down the shield? Make it fair?" Walker said
"Hes asking for it" Jessie whispered as she saw John actually put the shield down but only for a staph to shoot inbetween them at the pillar from a Dora Milaje, one came in speaking in Wakandan to Bucky
"Release him to us now" She finished in English
"Hi, John Walker, Captain America" John introduced himself, holding his hand out
"Well let's, uh, put down the pointy sticks and we can talk this through, huh?" He said
"Hey, John, take it easy. You might wanna fight Bucky before you tangle with the Dora Milaje" Sam stated
"The Dora Milaje don't have jurisdiction here"
"The Dora Milaje has jurisdiction wherever the Dora Milaje find themselves to be" Ayo answered
"Seriously, don't mess with them" Jessie warned
"Look, I think we got off on the wrong foot" Walker said as he placed his hand on Ayos shoulder
"Warned ya" Jessie shook her head as Ayo hit him and they started to fight around the floor. Jessie grabbed herself a drink and Zemo gave her another Turkish delight as she then walked back to Buckys side to watch the rest
"We should do something" Sam said as they stood aside
"Should we though?" Jessie asked
"Looking strong, John" Bucky shouted, making Jessie laugh a little
"Bucky" Sam warned
"I'm not joining in, my knee ain't fully healed enough" Jessie said to her brother
"Ayo" Bucky said as he grabbed her weapon
"Ayo, let's talk about this!" Bucky shouted as he and Sam then joined in. Jessie ducked down to avoid being accidentally stabbed by one of them. When she stood back up she saw Buckys arm on the floor and he looked shocked and upset. Ayo went to the bathroom and opened it up
"He is gone, leave it" Ayo told them as the other gave Walker the shiled back. Jessie walked over to Bucky as he picked up his arm
"Did you know that it could do that?" Sam asked
"No" He said as he reconnected it and then sorted it out
"Glad that mine doesn't have that feature" Jessie muttered as she hugged Bucky for a little comfort for him before they walked over to the bathroom
"I can't believe he pulled an El Chapo" Sam said
"I'm not surprised. He completed a part of his mission now so, why not escape" Jessie said
"Come on" Bucky said as he dragged Jessie with him away from the bathroom.
"Where are we going exactly?" Jessie asked him
"See if we can see anything near by" Bucky answered as the three left
A while later Sam got a phone call
"She said what?... right, hold on, hold on. I know, I know... listen, pack an overnight bag and take the boys" Sam said
"What happened?" Bucky asked
"Karli called Sarah, she threatened my nephews" Sam told the two
"I know someone who has a hotel out that way, they won't question a thing and can give her top security" Jessie told him
"Tell her where it is" He said, handing Jessie the phone
"Hey Sarah, so there is a hotel about 25 minute drive from your house, that 4 star place... yeah, well that guy owes me a favour so go in and tell him Jessie Barnes sent you and he will give you a room key which has a good amount of food stashed inside as well as big enough for the three of you" Jessie told her before she handed the phone back to Sam
"Alright, remember only pay in cash and don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you and the boys... I love you. Okay, bye" Sam said as the call then ended
"Karli wants to meet, she left a contact number" He said just as a message came through
"She said come alone" He sighed
"I'm coming with you" Bucky said
"We both are" Jessie added in with a nod
