☆A Month Later☆

Jessie laughed as she unpacked the final box, seeing Major, Lucia and George playing with this water sprinkling machine. She placed the ornaments on the shelves and finally flopped back onto the chair to relax, pulling up a strap from her top as it slid off her shoulder

"Momma! Come join us!" Lucia giggled from the door

"Nope, I want to stay dry" Jessie smiled

"I think Rhodey is back, I heard a car!" George said as he came closer to the house

"Alright, I'll go see" Jessie said as she walked upto the front of the house to see Rhodeys car. She opened up the front door and walked down the steps to the drive
"How was your first day back?" Jessie asked him as she stood next to him

"Great, I brought company if you are okay with that" Rhodey stated, Jessie gave him a confused look until she saw Sam

"Birdman! It's been months" Jessie smiled as she walked over and hugged him

"Missed you too" He laughed as he remembered the nickname

"Where are the kids?" Rhodey asked, noticing they weren't out with Jessie

"In the back with Major, they are soaked as they are playing with that water thing" Jessie answered

"Nice new home, how long have you been here then?" Sam asked as the three went inside

"We moved in 2 weeks ago officially and we are now fully unpacked" Jessie explained

"Have you heard anything from Bucky?" Sam asked her

"One text over the month" Jessie answered as she walked to the conservatory with the two men
"How are your sister and nephews?" Jessie asked

"You keeping tabs on me now?"

"No, I just wanted to know. Your sister is really sweet, can't tell how you would be related" Jessie smirked

"That's mean" Sam stated before they then heard Major barking at something. Jessie ran outside, seeing Major infront of the kids and barking at the fence, her veins started to glow out of instinct until she saw their neighbour

"Hiya! Sorry for the scare" The male said just as Rhodey and Sam caught up

"Major, down" Jessie said in relief

"That is one good guard dog, where did you get him?" They asked

"Work, is there anything I can help you with?" Rhodey asked

"Right yes! There is this cat that came in through our window and well, it isn't ours... is it yours?"

"No, we only have a dog" Jessie smiled

"Oh look! It's a friend of theirs, how ya doin' "? The woman asked

"I'm fine" Sam answered

"Okay, well we will go now then" The two said before leaving from the fence

"Come in kids" Jessie said and the 5 humans and dog went inside
"I swear they just find the worst excuses and lies so they can talk to us" Jessie grumbled

"Well, we aren't exactly unknown to the public" Rhodey shrugged

"I know we aren't but it just is the 5th time this week and it is only Wednesday" Jessie said

"It will be okay" Rhodey said as they handed their kids a towel each

"Anyway, sorry about that Sam... how long are you planning to stay here for?" Jessie asked him

"Just a few hours"

"Stay the night, it would be fun to have some company" Jessie smiled as they all went to the lounge and sat down

"If you want me to, then I will" He laughed as he sat down

"Good, I got some great home made pizza for us and also a great bottle of vodka because wine is for wimps" Jessie smiled

"You brought Vodka?" Rhodey asked her

"What else was I suppose to buy for drinks?" Jessie shrugged as she leaned against him

"Hey Sammy! I have a drawing for you!" Lucia said as she handed him a picture of him, Bucky, Jessie, Sharon but also a man with a purple face covering

"What made you draw this Lucia?" Jessie asked as he showed her it

"I saw it" She smiled as she walked off

"She saw it?" Sam questioned

"Kitchen?" Jessie asked and the three adults went to the kitchen
"Call me crazy but I generally think Lucia has powers" Jessie said

"What makes you think that?" Sam asked, Jessie opened a unit which was full of drawing of events

"There was a young girl I heard rumours about in Hydra... she had the same power to see and draw the future... I think Lucia has the same or at least very similar" Jessie said as Sam and Rhodey looked at the drawings

"So somehow, you, me, metal arm and Sharon Carter end up together with purple face?" Sam asked

"Apparently so, I wouldn't call Bucky 'metal arm' though" Jessie stated
"There was a picture... she drew it 4 days ago... it, um, it was surprising" Jessie said as she pulled one out her pocket to see these drawings of Rhodey and Jessie stood together and a speech bubble
'Baby!'

"Did she say what it was supposed to mean?" Rhodey asked

"Yeah, she did" Jessie hinted

"Oh, wait really?" Rhodey asked and Jessie nodded

"What?" Sam cluelessly asked

"Come on birdman, I am the oldest here and I got the hint" Jessie rolled her eyes

"Are we sure she just is good with coincidences or listening into conversations?" Sam asked

"No, she isn't even 4 yet but I'm not even there either" Jessie stated

"Couldn't she learn from George?" Sam suggested

"He is 7 and he knows I don't want Lucia involved with this part of my life" Jessie shook her head

"Momma, door!" Lucia shouted, Jessie looked confused until they then heard the doorbell

"She heard the car" Sam shrugged

"No, I would've heard it first" Jessie said

"Pepper and Morgan are here" Lucia smiled, sat down on the sofa watching TV as Jessie walked to the door and saw Pepper and Morgan

"Sorry, we were close so I thought I would come see you" Pepper smiled

"Okay, that had to confirm my theory" Jessie said to Rhodey and Sam

"What theory?" Pepper asked

"Lucia has powers" Jessie answered as she let the two inside

"Hi Auntie Jessie!" Morgan smiled as she hugged her

"No Happy?" Jessie asked Pepper

"No, he is with Peter Parker more than anything" Pepper answered as Jessie took her coat and hanged it up

"Alright, I need a rest" Jessie grumbled as she went to the kitchen and grabbed a shot glass and took some Vodka before sitting down
