A week and a bit later

Jessie woke up to someone knocking on the door
"For the last time Mrs Harlow, I haven't got your washing line!... oh... hi Sam" Jessie said as she opened the door, only seeing him laughing

"Why would someone think you have their washing line?" He asked with a laugh

"She's old, nice but old... keeps thinking I want to take her washing line or that it has come to my garden somehow" Jessie laughed as she moved aside so he could come in

"Makes sense" Sam said as he sat down on the couch

"What are you doing here anyway?" Jessie asked

"I got us a small mission, should be a good and quick thing... did Torres ever tell you about the Flag Smashers?" Sam answered and asked

"The group who want to restore things to before everyone came back, yeah" Jessie nodded

"Redwing has a location on them, I agreed to go out in an hour and a half" Sam informed her

"Great! I am really gonna go crazy staying in a house much more than I need to" Jessie laughed

"Are you sure you're gonna be okay doing this?"

"Yeah, let me just say goodbye to Lucia and George first" Jessie nodded as she walked down the hall to the kids rooms

"Mom?" George yawned as Jessie slowly opened the door

"I got to go for a while, I'll see you once the mission is done, okay?" Jessie told him

"Have fun" George nodded as he hugged Jessie before she left him and went into Lucia's room

"Momma? What are you doing?" Lucia giggled as she stretched

"I am giving my big girl a hug before I go... I got to go for a trip with Sammy" Jessie told her

"Okay! See you soon" Lucia laughed as Jessie kissed her forehead before she got up and closed the door again

"Suit... I need my suit" Jessie nodded before she looked down at her pyjamas
"And actual clothes" She laughed as she walked into her room and grabbed a tank top and leggings before she grabbed her bracelet and put it on.

"Where's Rhodey?" Sam asked

"On his way back, he went out with Major so once he returns we can leave" Jessie nodded as she tied her hair up in a ponytail

"How long will that be?" Sam asked

"A minute or two? Want a drink?" Jessie offered

"Nah, I'm good" Sam said as Jessie walked into the kitchen to grab herself a drink

"Oh, Hi Sam" Rhodey said as he walked into the house

"Hey" Sam greeted him just before Jessie walked into the lounge

"You're back! Good, I am going out with Sam for a mission" Jessie smiled as she hugged her husband

"Mission?" Rhodey questioned

"My last one until baby arrives" Jessie nodded

"Alright, be safe" Rhodey said as they quickly kissed

"Always" Jessie smiled as she grabbed her bag of things

"I'll make sure she doesn't do more than what is needed, I promise" Sam told him

"I trust she knows her limits" Rhodey nodded

"See you soon" Sam said before he and Jessie got into the car outside the house and drove the base.
