As Chris and I start to make our way down a hill, Chris started to hold my hand. I felt the heat arise in my cheeks, as much as I try to hide it, it didn't work. He must've noticed and he kissed both of them. It made the heat get hotter.
"Stop it, you're making it worse" I said,
"It's to show that you are my girl" He said, being cheeky as usual.
As we start to walk up to the Checkpoint, the Guards lower their guns and let us pass through, they didn't say anything about Chris not having a Registration Pass, according to our little discussion we've had last night. We walked in and everyone was training.
I walked around with Chris' hand still attached to mine. We went to the Private Training Grounds and saw Rocky, Matthew, and Trevor climbing up a rock wall.
"Are you guys training without me?" I said, they turned their heads and dropped down. Trevor, being the daumbass that he is, fell down on his face. He got back up and rubbed his face muttering a "ouch" as the three of them gave me a group hug.
"We're so happy that your safe" Rocky said,
"Yeah we were worried about you, how come you didn't come inside when you came back?" Matthew asked,
"I jjust wanted to spend some time getting to know Chris, why is that a problem or something?" I said, adding a hint of an attitude in their.
They let the coversation go and went to go pack their things. I waited with Chris as the three start to come of the Private Cabin with their things and a couple of crates full of our weapons. On our way out, the Sleazeball of a leader of #5672 came up to us.
"I see you matured up a bit" I said,
"I'm glad you got our supplies, thank you very. I messaged your Zone that you've gathered what you need and will be back shortly. Have a safe trip." and with that he walked off.
A couple hours later, the three of them got sucpicous that Chris wasn't leaving us alone. Sometimes they would give him weird looks, most of the time those looks came from Trevor.
"How come your following us? We're going home." Matthew said, trying his best not to sound rude,
"I'm coming to say goodbye" Chris said,
I didn't want to leave him behind here. I want him to come with me and fight with us. I can't picture my life without him now. I try my best not to say anything, if I did it might come out with a screech.
As soon as we got to the Train Station, I couldn't hold it back and held Chris' hand. As I hear a train start to come from the tunnel, I squeezed his hand. The train entered into the train station with a loud hiss.
Damien came out and greeted us, saying how happy that we got away from The Infected when we came here. He took our luggage and put it in the luggage car and got back to his station. Matthew, Rocky, and lastly Trevor entered the train.
"Go on. Get on the train before it leaves." Chris said,
"Chris, I know we met yesterday, but I feel like I've known you for a thousand years. I don't want to leave you here. Please. Come with me to #2326." I said,
"Alice, you have so much on your plate, I don't want to interfere with your battles." he said,
Damien blew the train whistle, telling me that he needs to leave.
"Chris, I love you too much to let you leave behind. You would love #2326, I know a part of it that does. We will treat you like family. The family you've never had. Please. Say yes" I said,
"ALICE, C'MON WE NEED TO GO. TELL HIM GOODBYE AND LETS GO!" Rocky said, yelling out of the window.
Chris sighed, I looked at him with pleading eyes, now starting to swell up in tears.
"Okay" He said. I hugged him tightly and started to cry happy tears.
"Let's go" I said, intertwining our fingers together and hopping onto the train. Damien blew the whistle and the train lurched and start to make it's way home.
Our fingers are still clasped together, and I put my head on his shoulder. I'm glad he's coming home with me. Nothing will never be the same ever again when we get there.
