Revolution of the Apocalypse

Chapter 24

I woke up the next morning to Chris shaking my shoulder. I opened my eyes, only to see those adoring eyes of his. The sparkle in his orbs glisten to mine as I lift myself out of bed.

"Glad to see you awake Alli" he said,

"It's nice isn't it?" I ask him, grabbing my jacket and starting to head for the door.

Chris follows behind me and close my door..

"So everyday, you guys train?" He asks me,

"We train to test your Strength, Agility, Force, Focus, Speed, and my favorite, Reason. Since you're new here, you need to be evaluated to see if you are eligible to go into battle." I said,

As soon as someone sees me, more people tend to look. Some were in awe to see me again with a newcomer, some looked at Chris like a meal. It didn't freak him out, he just kept on walking besides me. All of them eventually went back to their Training courses.

Since I'm the leader of the Zone, I have to evaluate Chris. We walked inside of the Private Training Hall and I told him what's going to go down for the next couple of hours. We decided to test his Strength first.

I placed a sand bag in front of him and told him to destroy it in the matter of 5 minutes. He nodded and jabbed at it and he winced in pain. He kept punching it until the pain went away. 3 minutes were left until the next trial, and Chris was going at it with the sand bag. I watched in amazement as he kept punching with full power at the object. I looked at the timer on my watch, 30 seconds left. Chris punched it so hard that the bag finally gave out.

The sand poured out onto the floor. I stopped the timer and dragged it outside. The next test was his Focus. I told him to pull out his pistol and aim it at the target. I also told him to shoot it at center, where the heart is supposed to be, with only 1 shot.

Chris got his pistol out and aimed at the target. I watched him as he focused on trying to get that one bullet through. He breathed in and then BANG!

I looked at the center target to see that Chris blew it out. I turned to him and gave him a smile and 2 thumbs up. He smiled at me I gave him a quick hug and a kiss on the lips. Now it's time to test his Agility.

I brought in the fastest soldier in the Zone. His name was Zayn Blacken. He can punch fast and can make anyone black out. Literally. I introduced each other and told Chris that he has 5 minutes to dodge all of Zayn's attacks.

I started the timer and watch as they circled around the perimeter. Zayn tried to throw a punch at Chris but he dodged it and hit him back. I actually didn't like this idea, not one bit. Zayn is a pretty big guy, he could actually hurt Chris. And if he gets hurt, I would feel guilty. I looked at the timer, 4 more minutes to go, oh god. Chris kept hitting Zayn, Chris did a backflip and knocked Zayn out. I stood there in awe and stopped the timer.

Zayn got up and winced at the pain in his face and body. I told Zayn thank you and that he can take a short 15 minute break. He agreed and left. Now with the Force test, we didn't need to go through that one, Chris beat the crap out of a sandbag and knocked out a guy more stronger than him. The only thing left, was the Reason test.

Chris took off his shirt due to sweating. His body was beautiful. His abs glistened and shined, I couldn't look away.

"Like what you see Alli" he said,

I blushed, "Yes I do."

The Reason test consists of one last and final fight. That last fight is with me. I told him and at first, he hesitated at the thought but I told him that he needs to do it.

I lunged at him and pinned him to the ground. He rolled us over and I started to punch him, not enough to hurt him. This went on for a few minutes and we were tired. I got up and told that he passed every test. He picked me up and kissed me.

"Come on, let's go get lunch" I said, starting to leave the building.
