After a few minutes after the train started to move forward, everyone got comfortable in their seats. I looked out the window to see the remains of houses, streets, and parks. The streets are covered in papers, garbage, blood in the middle of the road. It was ashaming.

Everything was so perfect, what the fuck happened? That stupid vaccine made everything worse than it already was. But nobody couldn't stop it. Now, half of the human race is gone. Either dead or a Flesh Eater.

"Alice? What's the matter? You look upset." I heard Matthew say,

Matthew sat down right next to me, putting his hand on my thigh. I pushed his hand away and got up to grab my backpack from the seat across from mine and went to the bathroom car. I took of my clothes and stepped in the shower. I washed my hair with soap from the Great Days, before The infected ruined everything.

The soap smelled wonderful, it didn't smell like rotting flesh. It hasn't been used, fresh out of the box. I scrubbed it on my body and rinsed off. I shut the water off and grabbed a towel and dried off. I dried my hair and grabbed my brush and brushed it out.

I out my hair into a messy bun and put my Zone #5672. I put my other clothes back in my backpack and came back to see everyone gone. I look around to see nobody sitting in there seats. I head to the door to the dining car when the door opens to reveal Trevor and Rocky.

"Is the deer cooked?" I asked,

"Just about. Zone #5672 looks good on you" Rocky said, applying to my uniform I just changed into. I didn't make up the fashion statements, the stupid ass Government made them. The last time The Government did something for the nation, was announcing that stupid failure of a vaccine. They sit back and watch people get mauled by the Infected, or train to become a Solider.

Ever since then, the U.S. protested the odds against The Government. They didn't answer any interviews, cancelled board meetings, relocated to someplace secret, and became isolated from the leftovers of the States. It sickens me that they think they can flee from their incorrect studies and discontinued efforts.

"Alice?" Trevor said, snapping his fingers in my face to break me out of my train of thought. I snatched his fingers away and sat down in my seat. Then the door opened and a smokey aroma filled the air. It made my mouth become a river, my nostrils couldn't get enough of the sensation.

2 men from the kitchen placed a cart of refreshments and the Smoked Deer. The refreshments weren't that special, it was just plain water. We grabbed our plates and silverware and cups and grabbed pieces of the meal and sat down to feast. I never had something so delicious in so long, I got used to eating horrid meals from the Mess Hall back at the Zone.

26 minutes later, everyone finished their platters and placed them on the cart with our empty glasses. Everyone was stuffed, so there won't be any complaining when we have walk 10 miles to the entrance of Zone #5672. I just hope they have our supplies there, we aren't there to go sightseeing, we are there to get what we need then we get the bell out of there.

Once nightfall hit, everyone fell asleep in their seats. I grabbed my blanket and pillow from my backpack and cuddled up against the window as I drifted off to sleep, wondering what's in store tomorrow.
