As the group and I start walking down the path to the train station, the clouds in the sky turn a dark grey. Even if it rains, we will keep going. A few drops of rain come down to Earth, or what's left of it, nobody complained at all, they just put their hoods up and kept walking.

As for me, I didn't mind the rain hitting my face and my hair. I always liked the rain, it helps me go to sleep at night after a horrible nightmare of the past or when I can't sleep. As nightfall started to arrive, we decided to set up camp. Due to the rain, it was hard to build a campfire, but we managed to build one with some damp driftwood, gas and matches.

Rocky snuggled against her jacket near the fire. Matthew and Trevor told jokes around the fire, which only Rocky chuckled at. I did absolutely nothing but stare at the furious orange and yellow dancing flames. I remember when Dad and I went camping in the country, those were good memories back then.

"So Alice, who's going to watch over us tonight? You'll never know when the Infected are going to come out and eat our flesh alive" Matthew said, jumping out of a tree and falling on his face. I chuckled at his stupidity.

"Karma's a bitch huh Matthew" I said, Standing up from my log I was sitting on.

"Shut up Alice, It's not funny" Matthew said, getting up from the ground

"Well your question was funny. I'll watch over the ground from the tree you fell out of" I said.

"No way Alice, I'll keep watch tonight. You need to lead us to the train station, if you keep watch tonight then you'll need to rest and we won't know where to go." Trevor said.

Before I could protest, Trevor is climbing up the tree to get ready to stand guard for the night. I just shrug my shoulders and lay down in the grass and drift off to a relaxing slumber.
