Chapter 26

Minutes went by like hours. My eyes were probably red and my cheeks must have been puffy. Everything right at this moment felt like a fucking mess. Chris can't go with all of us when we leave for the Boarder. I need him, God I need him.

Without him, I don't know what the hell to do for the rest of my life. I got up from the floor and locked my door. I just wanted to go to sleep with Chris' arms wrapped tightly around me. Speaking of Chris, I just remembered that he's probably trying to look for me. I took off my jacket and someone knocked on my door.

"Alli, let me in. It's raining out here" I hear from the other side. Chris.

I unlocked the door and opened the door and latched my arms around Chris' neck. Chris was a little startled but gave me a hug back. I looked and in his hand was a brown paper bag. Probably from lunch.

"Baby girl, tell me what's wrong." He whispered in my ear.

"Yo-You can't come with u-us" I said, stuttering as my breathing began to go out of control.

Chris didn't want me to go on. He knew that if I kept talking, I would soon hyperventilate and go completely crazy. His hand ran through my hair, hitting a knot or two.

"What are we going to do?" I said,

"I don't know Alli. You have to remember that we can work this out. We love each other, even if you're far away from me, I will never leave you." He said,

I nodded but gave him a sad smile. I laid down in bed and hoped that the next 2 days won't come quickly. Chris laid down next to me and started to sing a song to me.

His singing was so beautiful. I felt my eyes staring to close as I begin to fall asleep. I felt Chris put a blanket on top of me and gave me a kiss goodnight.

"Good night Alli, we can try to work things out. Don't worry about it."
