Hailey sits in her car, waiting for Declan to come out from training, she told him she'd pick him up as shes out anyway and he would be ready at the right time.

He walks through the gates, but not alone.

It's not just one of the boys, it's Jack.

And Hailey hates Jack.

Declan opens the passenger door, his sister shooting him a look.

"Can he just get in the car, we're driving past his house anyway, his car has broken down."
Hailey groans, but unable to say no so nodding slowly, regretting her choice immediately.

"So how's he got here?" She questions.

"His car. It has just broken down." He says in a sort of obvious tone, like Hailey was expected to know this.

Hailey's never been able to say no, not to helping Jack. She acts oblivious to the obvious reason, but everyone knows why.

However, she would help any of Declan's friends, especially considering most of them are hers too.

"Fine. Get in then."

Jack opens the door, placing his bag next to him on the back seat. His hair is slightly messed up, cheeks flushed.

The car ride to Jack's is practically silent, Declan tells her about a few things in training and Jack stays quiet.

Hailey pulls up outside of his house after a drive which felt like hours, but in reality, it was minutes.

"Thank you." His lips twitch into a small smile from her gesture, she nod as a return, driving away as soon as he gets out.

"Wasn't that bad, was it?" Declan asks.

"That was the most awkward drive of my life, do that one more time and i am never giving you a lift again. Why couldn't you tell me, Dec? I look an absolute mess."

"You don't and since when do you care about what he thinks?"

"I don't, just don't do that again though."

"You could've said no.."

"Well i didn't, okay?" She snaps, finally pulling up outside of his house. Only roughly a fifteen minute drive from Jack's. "It'd be different if it was anyone else."

Declan and Hailey live very close by, so most of the time we are at each other's houses. They go inside and as usual, Mason has also let himself in, he's sleeping on the couch with a movie playing in the background.

The pair of siblings look at each other with a mischievous grin, before going to get water to pour over him. Usual procedure.

Declan records it, dumping the responsibility on his sister to the one to be waking him up.

He jolts awake, sitting upright, he looks at the pair before letting out a loud groan, knowing it's never a great idea to fall asleep at Declan's, especially when Hailey is involved.

"You bitch." Mason notices the empty cup of water in Haileys hand.

He jumps up from his seat, throwing her over his shoulder before she could get away.

Masons always been bigger and stronger than Hailey, making it very easy for him to do stuff like this.

"You're going in the pool now." He announces.

The only good thing is the fact the pool is heated, meaning she won't be so cold. She'd love to protest, however, the both of them know no matter how much she could try, she's going in regardless.

Hailey is tossed into the pool, but acts fast and grabs Masons ankle, pulling him with her.

They come down with a crash, water spilling over the sides. Mason laughs as he resurfaces, purely out of shock.

"I hate you."  He shakes his head like a dog.

"You love me." Hailey winks.

"Hey, do you want to go out later, some of the boys are going out to this club so we should go and Hailey you can invite Maura." Declan interrupts them.

"Yeah, great." Hailey says, swimming over to the side to get out.

Hailey loves Mason, of course she does. But she's unsure of what way in complete honesty. In a way, she'd find it odd if they ever officially dated, sure, they've kissed and whatnot but who hasn't kissed their best friend once, right?
