They take their food and sit at the edge, their legs swinging, watching the sun set before them.

The moment is magical, the sun beaming onto the three of them while they chatter lightly, almost like it's a movie scene.

In her peripheral vision, Hailey occasionally sees Jacks head turn, staring at her for a moment or two before turning away.

She can't help but return the favour, looking at him while he laughs at something that's said, crinkles at the side of his eyes, face brightening.

Really, they could just get back together and forget about everything.

However, then you have to think about the past, although the past is done, it will always be lying beneath, waiting to be discovered.

If you don't speak about the past, you can never move forward. You must resolve one situation before beginning another.

Like, when you was younger and you'd be directed to put one thing away before pulling out the next.

The dying trust between each other also becomes a large factor in a relationship.

Trust takes time and that is potentially all that they need, time.

Unfortunately, when you're in a public relationship, it's hard not to believe what everyone else is saying.

You could he told your partner is seeing other girls, sometimes there's even 'proof', that's where problems start and relationships end, usually due to teenagers who believe you're 'not good enough' for their favourite celebrity.

When the media becomes too involved in your relationship, there's nothing you can really do together, most of the time, someone with a camera will locate you.

If you believe in this stuff, maybe Jack and Hailey are meant to be, they could be soulmates, just maybe not in this lifetime.

Potentially, in their next life, their souls will find each other.

But, then again, that could be thinking too far into things. It could've just not worked the first time.

The reasons are unlimited, anything can be made for an excuse.

Wind breezes past them, Hailey warmer than before considering she's using Jacks jumper he let her borrow, although she still has some at home that he's given her previously.

Her hair floats in the wind, really, it's like they're in a movie.

The sky floats through different colours, as time passes, each new colour appearing makes the view look like a painting.

It brings back memories from when Jack and Hailey would do something similar, sitting early in the morning as the sun rises and birds awake, the only sound among them is the nature.

They wait until the sun has gone completely before getting in the car, although it's summer the night air can be bitter, proving that tonight.

It's dark outside, the only light from street lights or cars, noting the fact they're not by any houses yet.

England's next game is in three days, being most of the boys conversation. They talk about all of their new training strategies and what their predictions are.

It's against Germany, which i'm sure the Chelsea players are dreading since they will be going against two of their teammates.

Although, they can't let their friendships get in the way, which i'm sure they won't, they never have.

"Hailey, are you going to your house or Declan's?" Jack asks, glancing at her through the mirror.

"Um, my house, please."

Jack nods, continuing a conversation with Declan.

While they drive, Hailey in the back, she feels like a child, scanning the route until she recognises her area.

Jack pulls up outside of Hailey's house, rain slightly dripping.

"Thank you." Hailey smiles at the boys, genuinely appreciating and enjoying the evening they spent together.

"See you later." Declan pats her shoulder, Jack giving a simple wave.

She decides to take a slight jog to avoid getting her too drenched, unlocking her door and stepping inside, she waits until she hears Jacks car speeding off before locking the door.

Hailey wouldn't want to admit it, but she did enjoy the night she spent with them. After them genuinely getting along, it's really helped her change her point of view.

It doesn't take her long to realise she's still wearing Jacks hoodie, deciding to call Declan to question what she could do with it.

"Hello?" Declan answers the phone.

"Hi, i still have Jack's jumper what should i do with it?"

"Uh, i'll come by tomorrow or something if you want." Jack interrupts.

"You're acting like it's a bomb, Hailey." Declan laughs.

"Shut up, okay, see ya'." She ends the phone.

Hailey slumps on the sofa with a sigh, she now smells like Jack, his significant smell.

It's a good scent, so she's thankful for that.

She debates pulling out his other clothing he's left, but deciding against the idea. Partly because they are the most comfortable jumpers she's wore and it reminds her of good memories which is something everyone loves.

Her phone dings, signalling she's received a message, she unlocks it to see it's from someone she wouldn't have guessed.

do you want to
meet at like
starbucks tomorrow
instead of your house?

sure, i guess

we don't have to, i
just thought it might
be easier.

no, it's fine i'll
meet you there.

okay, 12?

yes

Hailey doesn't exactly understand his logic of it being easier but nevertheless, she agrees to go.

To be fair, she doesn't know why she didn't just refuse and tell him to come here, like she usually would. But i guess, who doesn't want to get starbucks.

Since she's not tired yet, she plays one of her favourite movies, Captain America: the first avenger.

The movie has always had a special place in her heart, she went to the cinemas to watch it multiple times.

Then, making Jack watch it with her, it becoming one of his favourite movies.

Her favourite thing is making the people she loves, watch her favourite things, where they'll also fall in love with it and watch it willingly.

As time passes, her eyes become heavy, forcing themselves shut.
