Sitting back in one of their favourite spots, laying on top of Jack's car, staring into the sky, stars twinkling above them.

Cliché but it brings a sense of peace, not having to talk, just knowing each other are there and feeling their presence is enough.

"Imagine if this didn't happen." Jack smiles down at her, his arm spread across her shoulders.

"I know. Do you think we will ever get married?"

"Yeah, i'm going to marry you."

"Hmm."

"What if i proposed right now? What would you say?"

"I'd say that you're stupid."

"Why?"

"Because we haven't even been dating again a year." Hailey shrugs.

"I'm not proposing, but i will one day. I told you ages ago i'd marry you like when we was teenagers."

"Yeah and we broke up." Hailey reminds him.

"But we're back together. Stop arguing with me because you know i'm right."

Hailey smiles against him, a leg spread over him.

"Maybe one day."

He hums against her, staring up at the stars, pointing out some shapes and pictures he can see.

They don't stay too long since Jack has training the next day, they go home and watch a movie in bed.

Jack wakes up early, attempting not to wake up Hailey as he gets out of bed to get changed.

She opens her eyes as she hears him rustling around in his bag, letting out a quiet groan when he can't find it.

"What you looking for?"

"It's fine, go back to sleep it's early."

Hailey listens to him, truthfully she is extremely tired, her eyes are barely even open when she was talking to him.

Jack finds his water bottle downstairs, leaving the house and locking the door as quietly as he can behind him.

He pulls into the road, ringing John since he offered to pick him up.

"Hiya." John answers the phone quickly.

"Hi, i won't be too long so be ready."

"Alright, uh see you in a bit."

"See ya." Jack ends the phone, music playing throughout the car again.

When he pulls up outside of John's house, he checks himself in the mirror, rubbing his eyes which are still sleepy.

John comes out after a few minutes, getting into the passenger side.

"Alright?" Jack asks John once he did his seatbelt.

"Yeah, you?"

Jack nods, pulling off of John's street and beginning the route to the training pitch.

"Are you going to tell me what happened with you and Maura when we was away?"

"Nothing happened."

"Don't lie, i don't care."

"Was just a holiday thing, didn't sleep together or anything."

"Have you seen her after?"

John shakes his head, connecting his phone to the aux to play some different music.

Thankfully, they don't have such a hard day of training which is good since Jack is practically falling asleep while warming up.

After everything is done, they're allowed to go home, the pair go to the shop to get some things they need before finally heading home.

John is dropped off at his house with a smile and a wave and Jack is finally on his way home.

Hailey should be awake by now, it's nearly 1pm so hopefully she's up.

Jack walks through the house, going straight to the kitchen to put everything away, bringing the bouquet of flowers with him to find Hailey.

She's laying in a ball on the sofa, a movie playing in the background while her face is slightly scrunched up, a blanket resting over her body.

"What's up?" Jack asks, putting the flowers down the sit beside her.

"I've just got cramps, i'll be fine." She reassures him.

"You sure? Do you need anything?" Jack has never been very good at dealing with this stuff, sure, he went out to go get his mum or sisters pads before but he never had to properly deal with the situation.

"Do we have a hot water bottle?"

"I'll go find one." He leaves the room, he's pretty sure he saw one earlier in a draw somewhere.

Once he finds it, he takes it downstairs, boiling the kettle to fill it up, going back to Hailey.

"Want a cup of tea?" He moves some of her hair out of her face.

"Yes, please."

Jack comes back to her with the hot water bottle and cup of tea, placing the cup on the coffee table.

He runs back to get a vase of water for the flowers.

"You like these ones don't you?" He shows her the bouquet.

"Yeah, they're really nice. Thank you." She smiles up at him, resting the heat at the end of her stomach.

"Do you need anything else?"

"No, i'm alright."

"I'll get changed and i'll be back down." Jack smiles, running upstairs to get changed.

He comes back down, laying on the sofa beside her, his head next to hers.

"Does it feel any better?"

"Slightly. They're not too bad anyway, thank God." She chuckles slightly.

"Does it always happen?" Jack asks, realising that he doesn't see her having cramps much.

"Not always, sometimes. Some girls throw up because of them though."

"Fucking hell." Jack gasps.

"Yeah, i know."

Hailey takes some more painkillers a little while later, the cramps eventually reducing and not leaving her in so much pain.

They go out to visit their friends briefly, since they decided to go watch a new movie in the cinemas which the pair was interested in.

The movie is roughly around two hours, they all then go to get some food before scattering off home.
