"No more Jack talk." Hailey announces, sipping my drink.

"Fine."

The best friends spend their day together, going from bar to bar, much over tipsy now.

Hailey rings the first number in my phone, which happens to be Mason.

"Hey." The blonde laughs.

"Hi? Are you okay?" He questions, confused.

"Yeah, can you pick me up?"

"Okay, Declan's coming too, where are you."

"I'll send you my location." She ends the phone, fumbling through her phone to send him it.

Maura and Hailey sit outside, talking and laughing about the day they have had.

Declan's car pulls up in front of them, him and Mason getting out.

"What the fuck." Declan almost laughs, staring at the pair on the floor.

Hailey holds a hand out for him, he takes it, dragging her up from the floor, opening the car door for her to climb inside.

"They're fucked." Declan laughs, looking at the pair of them.

"I'm not." Hailey defends. "I am tired though."

"Sleep." He orders.

Hailey tips her head back, shutting her eyes. Awakening when shes being moved from the seat, Declan carrying his sister as if she was a baby.

"Don't leave Maura." She whispers.

"She's there." He tilts me, seeing Maura walking beside them.

The morning light shines on her face, eyes opening from the blinding sunlight.

She sits up, noticing she's in the spare room, Maura beside her, still fast asleep.

A sharp feeling runs through her head, almost as if someone threw a knife straight at it.

She holds her head in discomfort, getting up, noticing she's not wearing what she was yesterday, but someone else's shirt.

Maybe they can be responsible.

As the girl stumbles down the stairs, she notices the boys sitting on the sofa, hunched over a controller each, shouting at either, each other or someone else they're playing with.

Hailey takes herself to the kitchen, taking a paracetamol, once again, and a large glass of water. Both of them slipping down her throat in seconds.

Declan walks into the kitchen, headset halfway hanging off.

He laughs at his sisters current state, both of them knowing it was a terrible idea.

"Did you even fully get over the last one?" He asks, referring to my hangover.

"Just." She grumbles back, placing her head on the cold kitchen island.

"You saw Jack yesterday?" He takes a seat beside me.

Hailey rolls her eyes at the question, she's sure if she has to talk about him one more time, shes seriously going to lose it.

"Unintentionally. How do you know anyway?"

"Maura wouldn't shut up about the tension you have."

"There is no fucking tension, the only tension there is, is between me punching him."

He coughs, poorly covering up "bullshit," slipping from his mouth. "The last i'll talk about him to you, but just give it a try. I know it didn't work but you're older now."

"Fine." Hailey replies, knowing it's definitely not happening, but it's one way to shut the conversation down.

"You'll be spending a lot of time together anyway." Declan sings, leaving the room.

She stares confused, simply not having the energy to investigate further.

No matter how much she could argue, to everyone else there's always something between Jack and her, which really makes her wonder what they look like from the outside.

But they both believe, it'll never happen again.

She moves herself to the couch, laying down on a part of it, the boys still screaming and shouting next to her.

She moves Masons headset since he's closest. "Can we just watch a movie or something?"

He nods. "After this game."

It's always, 'after this game'.

They finish, turning off the console and putting on Netflix, searching for a movie to watch.

They end up switching to Disney+ and watching Incredibles 2, they loved the incredibles as children, so it would be rude not to.

Although the second one wasn't out when they were little, they still watched it in cinemas, seen as they are mentally ten years old.

Maura comes down halfway through, sitting on the sofa, looking not as bad as Hailey could've assumed.

After the movie finishes, she take myself upstairs to shower. Considering she feel disgusting, it was probably the best thing shes done today.

She brushes her teeth and changes into a pair of jogging bottoms and a shirt. Still wearing no makeup or doing my hair properly, just having it in a ponytail.

They spend the entire day watching movies. Tomorrow, the boys will have to train for an England game the day after.

Czech Republic v England.

If England win this game, they go through to the quarter finals.

Mason won't be playing, however, Declan will.

Both of us will be there to support the team, as usual.

My phone buzzes repeatedly, Hailey opens her eyes with a groan, Declan calling me.

"Hello?"

"Hi, did you just wake up?"

"Yes, what do you want?"

"Wanted to know if your coming to training now, i'll drive or if you're coming later or if you're coming at all."

"How long do i have to get ready?"

"Like twenty five minutes."

"Right, i'll come."

Shes not exactly sure how she always get dragged along to trainings, or even why she's allowed but she goes.

Usually, she's dragged to help the team, take pictures, you name it, Hailey's probably done it.

The car ride is basically Declan talking, Hailey just listening and still waking up.

She sits in one of the chairs, with a coffee she begged Declan to buy me, watching them train.

Masons still there, although he won't even be playing this match.

My entire life Hailey's grown up listening to football, watching football, even playing it sometimes.

She's sure she could probably be able to be thrown on that pitch and have some sort of clue what was happening.

It's always been a fun thing they did together, usually as a family, sometimes including Mason and his family.

By the time training ends, the suns setting. They've been doing this the whole day, Hailey has no idea where they get the energy from.

She offers to drive herself to her house then Declan can take himself home.

She goes with him to games usually but since Mason isn't playing she can go with him instead, which will be better, not having to wake up so early.
