When Hailey finished her shoot, it was late. Because of her time booked away, she's had to do a few lots of shoots for this one specific company. But, now she's only just realised she doesn't have her car.
She dials Declan's number, since she's seeing him anyway, he will be able to pick her up.
"Hailey." Declan greets.
"Hi, Dec, can you pick me up?"
She hears him sigh over the phone.
"Yeah. Are you ready?"
"No, i just finished my shoot."
"Fucking hell. Alright, tell me where you are then."
"Sending it now. Thanks, love you."
"Love you too, bye."
Declan ends the phone, leaving Hailey waiting outside for his arrival.
He gets there after about twenty five minutes, she throws her stuff in the back and jumps in the front beside him.
"Hiya."
"Hello. I'll take you home and you can go get changed, alright?"
"Okay. Where are we going."
"We're going to this new arcade thing that opened, it's massive, have you seen it? I'm so excited."
"How old are you again?"
"Fuck off." He laughs.
They pull up outside of Hailey's house, she runs in to change her outfit and fix her makeup.
"Slept at Jack's yesterday?" Declan asks, clearly knowing the answer.
"Yeah. Why?"
"Just wondering. Also, don't just abandon us for Jack, please."
"Don't be an idiot. Obviously i'm not going to abandon you, you're my brother and Mason is too, practically."
"Yeah, well we've seen less of you already."
"You're right. I'm sorry, but i've been busy with shoots and stuff. When we're away i'll be with you a lot."
Declan nods, driving to Masons house.
Hailey remembers Declan telling her, you'll be spending a lot of time with him anyway. Which automatically makes her curious again.
"Dec, what did you mean when you said to me 'you'll be spending a lot of time with him anyway', you was talking about Jack."
Declan laughs, clearly remembering the conversation.
"Well, basically, we was going to try get you a room with Jack for the hotel and you was maybe going to be sitting next to him on the plane but it was never definite."
"You was going to get me a hotel room with someone i hate?"
"No, because i knew you wouldn't hate him by then. Come on, Hailey. You can't seriously believe that your little argument would last forever. You was together too often." He shrugs.
Hailey can't argue because she knows he's right, the amount of people who have said it, Hailey would have to be delusional if she chose to believe her and Jack would never come back together.
Right from the end, she knew they would. There was no doubt about the fact they'd be brought back together.
Heard the phrase, right person wrong time?
That is pretty much the definition of the two of them. When something seems so wrong but it's right.
It's right in a different time, which is why people can't always let go.
"Look, Hailey. I love the both of you, you're my sister, but i want you to make sure you're actually happy in the relationship. I don't want to see you how you were before."
"Cute." She teases.
"No, seriously. Only do it if you think it's right, do you think it's right? Do you think this time it's forever?"
"Yes, i do. And if it's not right i'll stop it, i know what Jack and i's relationship is like and now i just need to make sure it maintains what it needs to."
Declan honks his horn when they're outside Mason's house, who comes running out and jumps in the back seat.
"Hiya." He pats her on the shoulder.
"Hey." Hailey smiles.
Declan takes them to the arcade. It's not as busy as they expected it to be, considering what Declan hyped it up to be.
"Oh my god, Hailey!" Declan drags her over to an arcade machine. "We always played this! Remember?"
"Of course i remember." She laughs, the both of them setting up themselves so they can play.
Mason is nearby, placing some random game he's probably found.
Hailey and Declan play together, Hailey winning.
As much as Declan loved the game, it was common for Hailey to beat him. He just simply fell right behind her.
Hailey cheers for herself, Declan groaning from his loss.
The three of them walk around, playing game after game, until it is dark outside and the arcade is almost closing.
When Declan drops Hailey off home, she gives them both a hug. Not knowing if she will get there before the game or not.
Both of them will be starting, so they both deserve her pep talk she likes to give them. It's what she's always done since they were kids
and has become a tradition."I'm going to try get there before hand to see you both, but if i don't, you know i'll be in the crowd, alright? It doesn't matter if you win or lose, try your hardest. You can't always win and you've got this far. I'm proud of you both."
She hugs Declan then hugs Mason.
"Make sure you sleep well." She waves them off, walking into her house and locking the door behind her.
After being with Jack for a few days, her house feels empty without him. But it's nice for her to be alone too, especially when she's still technically figuring out her feelings for him.
Space is good.
Although, she does ring him, pretty much saying the same as she did to the boys.
Hailey adores the England team, she loves how close they all are and treat her like a younger sister.
She makes sure Declan tells them she wishes them all good luck in case she doesn't see them the next day.
Euro finals.
The first finals England have been in, the tension and support travelling through the country is magnificent.
If the boys weren't motivated before, they definitely are now.
a/n: i'm so sad i'm making myself relive the final and making you all relive it :,)
