Wanda's POV:

It feels nice to wake up with my arms wrapped around Nat. Usually, it's the other way around, but I wanted to make her feel safe after everything that happened. One of her arms are at my waist and her face was buried at one side of my neck.

I was treasuring this precious moment up until she started violently shaking and she started screaming in her sleep.

"NO! L-Let me go!" she screamed.

Panicked rushed in me and I didn't know what to do. So I started rubbing my hand on her arm to wake her up but she was still screaming.

"Nat. Hey, wake up. It's me, Wanda. I'm right here baby. Hey." I assured her. Her eyes flew open which was already flooded with tears and she was shivering.

"C'mon, babe. Come back to me." I said as I placed my palm on her cheek and then I kissed her forehead.

I hugged her tightly and started brushing my hand against her hair. Trying my best to comfort her because that's what she usually does if I was the one who had a nightmare. She enveloped her arms around my waist and brought me even closer to her.

"I-I'm scared." she muttered.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked.

"T-The Red Room.. They were trying to take me again." she rattled.

"No, baby. The Red Room is gone. Dreykov is dead." I said.

"B-But.."

"He's gone... And whatever happens, I'll be here to protect you. I know that you're used to be that person who protects people, but that's my job to you as your girlfriend. No one can ever hurt you again as long as I'm here because I won't let them." I assured her.

"Promise?" she asked.

"I promise for as long as you let me. If you're around me and there's no mission, you can let your guard down. I know it's hard but you can do that if I'm here and you know that I'm not going anywhere, okay? Do you trust me?" I said and projected so much love in the way that I looked at her so she feels that I was being real.

"I do." she responded.

I leaned in to give her a kiss on her lips and then on her forehead to show her signs of both my love and protection for her.

"So, since we're not on a mission and almost everyone is not in the compound, will you be willing to go on a date with me? Just something simple but special. Somewhere here in the compound." I invited.

"Ooh. We hadn't gone out on an official date yet." she implied. "Scratch that. I have never gone out on a date before."

"Precisely. And I want to make you feel like this will be a normal date. You're not allowed to see me until then so you could also feel excited when I pick you up. So.. does 8:00 work for you, Natasha?" I asked.

"That sounds dandy, my love." she replied and she kissed me on the lips.

"I'll see you then. Wear something nice. Stay away from the 4th floor and the rooftop." I instructed her.

"Yes, ma'am." she responded.

I left our room and made my way to the 4th floor to get everything ready. I have the entire day to plan, cook and prepare for the date so it'll be a busy day because I wanted to make sure that this will be a perfect date for the both of us.

Nat's POV:

It has only been 30 minutes since Wanda left for her to plan our date. I already miss her but I am excited for whatever she has in store for me later. It was really romantic of her to take me out on a date. I was never asked out by anyone before. It could have something to do with the way I live my life but it feels great to feel like a normal human being for once in a while.
