Wanda's POV:

It has been about three weeks since the war and we have been trying to pick up the pieces of what's left of ourselves after everything that's happened. Since the Avengers and SHIELD's compound was blown up to pathetic little pieces, we have moved to a new location. Stark bought new buildings and lands which is still in upstate New York but away from the city. We all agreed that it won't be safe for the people if we moved to the new Stark Tower since that's surrounded by a lot of buildings.

It's only been about a week since we've moved to the new facility and everyone of us is doing the best that we can to start healing already. Both physically and mentally. Thor's still healing after the snap because he barely survived after that and it has only been a couple of days as well since I was bedridden due to all the injuries I've sustained at the war.

It was a great victory but it still caused a lot of trauma to all of us. It's also a fact that we still don't know what's out there and what's beyond that. Especially since we found out that the multiverse exists. Something that Max or Magneto has been educating us about.

The government has been assessing the incidents that happened on that fateful day and we were grateful that no civilians were hurt because that will be a whole other dilemma for all of us. The news about the war has spread out internationally and as usual, we have been receiving both praise and hate. Something that's not new to us anymore so we normally opt to not care for it instead.

Stark not only bought buildings for the Avengers and SHIELD but he also accommodated the mutants, thus, he got them their own facility since they have been such a great help during the war and would be helpful for future events like that. The government has found out about the mutants as well and they are still working on deciding what to do with them but for now, we have all agreed that they are a separate and private team who are only called when really needed. They have also been considered as classified to the public since our world is not ready to find out about them and the mutants understood that part too.

One of the best things we've received after the war was when the United Nations abolished the Sokovia Accords and made us a private organization once again. Letting us reunite with the other Avengers that left. Because at the end of the day, our allegiance to the people as well as their safety is and has always been our main concern.

Setting those things aside, Nat and I have been working on our relationship too. Because whether or not we admit it, the war did take a toll on our relationship. Nat's anxiety and paranoia has worsened after that day as well as my depression and panic attacks. It also doesn't help that the both of us has been experiencing awful nightmares at the same time that was mainly caused by our PTSD after the war.

We love each other so much that whatever mental health issues we are facing, we find a way to set it aside up to the point that we somehow forget to address it. That, however, isn't healthy for the both of us and until now, we're still working on it.

"Wands, breakfast is ready." Nat informed me as she got in our room.

"I'll be out in a minute." I weakly smiled.

"What's the matter?" she asked.

"Nothing. Just.. tired as usual." I replied.

"I see. Well, I've got some coffee brewing for us so how 'bout we go hit that?" she grinned and I nodded in response.

She can sense that I have a lot more going in my mind but she understands that I don't really want to talk about it because if she does force me to, we somehow end up bickering.

We both made our way to the kitchen so we can have our breakfast and honestly, coffee sounds like a good idea at the moment. It looks like Nat, Maria, Yelena and I were the last ones to eat breakfast again as always. I find it really hard to wake up in the morning even more than ever.
