Nat's POV:

Every one of us got nervous over what Thor told us about Thanos. We wanted to start planning ahead but it's a lot to take in. Thor explained that he's after these stones that could help him execute his plan faster in eliminating half of the population of living creatures in the entire universe.

How are we supposed to even let that sink in our human brains?

He also mentioned that one of the stones he's collecting is the gem that's connected to Vision's lifeline, which is called the mind stone. So, he's basically telling us that we would be a direct target for Thanos and soon enough, he would be here to try and get the stone from us.

"I mean, where do we even begin?" Tony asked as he anxiously paced around the living room.

"I don't know but we have to come up with a plan immediately." Steve responded.

"I believe there's one answer to that." Vision started. We all looked at him and waited for his suggestion. "We have to get rid of the stone." he added.

"What? Like, destroy it? Vision, you do realize that the stone is the one that's keeping you alive, right?" Rhody countered.

"I'm aware."

"We don't trade lives, Vision." Steve said. "There must be another way." he added.

Suddenly, Tony's phone started ringing. When he looked at the screen, he glanced at all of us, showing concern in his eyes.

"Secretary Ross! Hi. How can I help you?" Tony greeted as he placed his phone on speaker.

"Stark, we have a situation at Bleecker Street. We need you and the rest of your team to come in." Ross responded.

"Uh, what situation? Can't your men from SWAT take care of it? We're kinda on a leave of absence right now." Tony requested.

"Not an option, Stark. This can only be handled by you guys since you were able to face extraterrestrial beings before." Ross replied.

"Wait, what? Aliens??" Stark worriedly asked.

"Yes. Currently, there's a man called Doctor Strange who's containing the situation but he won't be able to do it alone. We need you right away, Stark."

"We'll be on our way. And hey, can we ask help from the others?" Tony asked.

"Unless the situation worsens, the Avengers who didn't sign the accords are not needed. Don't push it, Stark." Ross warned. "Did I make myself clear?" he added.

"Crystal. We'll be on our way." Tony replied.

"It's them." Maria implied.

"We gotta go." Thor said.

"No. You guys can't. You heard the man. The Avengers who didn't sign the accords are not allowed on this mission." Tony cautioned.

"What are you talking about?" Thor probed.

"Stark, we're about to face the possible end of the world or even the end of the universe but your main concern are still the accords?" Steve blurted.

"Just please wait for us to handle this. I'll talk to Ross if we will need you guys to come in. But for now, the rest of us needs to go. Now!" Tony commanded.

I took a quick glance at the rest of them before leaving. I held Wanda's hand and we made our way to the rooftop. We got on a chopper so we can fly back to the compound first to quickly suit up before heading to Bleecker Street.

When we arrived, the spaceship has just left and disappeared from the sky. The entire street looked as if the apocalypse happened. There was no one there but one guy with a red cape and another one in robes. We got off the jet and immediately approached them to get some answers.
