As she walked down the aisle, her nervousness lessened the more she got closer to Bobby. Until finally she was at the front of the church. Pastor Scott welcomed everyone. "Please be seated. First I'd like to begin by welcoming and thanking everyone for being here on this very happy occasion. It's not by accident each of you are here today, and each of you were invited here because you represent someone important to both Robert and Mary."

He paused and caught his breath. "We are all blessed to know and love these two as individuals, but even more so as a wonderful couple. One of the most outstanding moments in life is when you meet the person who makes you feel complete. The person who puts the color in your world and makes the world a beautiful, safe place for your love to grow. The person whom you share this special bond with makes love something so pure and so wonderful, that you can't imagine spending another day without them."

During this Mary started to have more tears gather in her eyes. She's trying super hard to not cry, but it may prove impossible. Aunt Pitty squeezed her arm, cause she knew Mary's struggle.

Pastor Scott continued. "I've known Mary her whole life. And I've come to know Robert, from the two months they've spent in pre-marriage counseling with me. I know how deeply these two care for each other. Now some of you may look at them and think they're too young. Let me assure you, they may be young but they're love is as strong as any adult I know. Another testament to the love these two share, is the support of their families and friends. This shows they recognize the love between Robert and Mary is real. It is a privilege to be here today among all of you as a witness to their commitment to a lifetime of love for each other. So without further ado, let us begin."

Looking at Mary and Bobby, Pastor Scott asked "Who gives this woman to this man today?"

Aunt Pitty spoke. "Her Aunt and I do." Then she lifted Mary's veil and kissed her cheek. After exiting the platform, Mary handed Ashley her beautiful bouquet. As Bobby took Mary's hands in his own, Ashley fluffed her dress in the back.

Bobby and Mary stood holding hands, gazing into each other's eyes with love. Pastor Scott begin the vows. "We are gathered here to join Robert Raymond Brown and Mary Margaret Grainger in the union of marriage. This contract is not to be entered lightly, but thoughtfully and seriously. The groom and bride have prepared their own vows.  They will read them now."

With his stomach fluttering, and his heart on his sleeve, Bobby began his vows. "Mary I knew the first moment I saw you, in ninth grade, you were special. I loved you then, but the love I have for you now is much purer and stronger. I love you with my whole heart and a passion that can't be expressed with words, but instead with kisses, hugs, glances, and years of longing for only you. I promise to be faithful, honest, to protect you, and nurture you. I promise to guide you in the dark, and warm you in the cold, and be your safe place when life gets difficult to bear on your own." He choked out the last part.

"I dedicate myself to your success and your smile. You are my dream come true and I can't wait for the reality of the life we get to build together. As well as new dreams to dream together. Wherever we go, we'll go together." He shed tears.

Pastor Scott asked him "Do you Robert take Mary to be your wife, to be your partner in love and life, to honor and cherish in sickness and health, richer and poorer, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do," he said. He wiped his tears and squeezed Mary's hands.

Now it's her turn. She wiped her eyes and drew in a deep breath. She let it out slowly to gather herself together, which is a difficult thing. With a shaky voice she began. "Bobby you are my best friend and the love of my life. I choose you and promise to choose you as my husband every day we wake up." She had to pause to wipe her tears away. So, did Bobby.
