I can't believe he knew that she could shift and not fucking tell me when I thought she was my mate. That is something I should have known about I should have been told about this. This means that she could very well be my mate if she has already shifted. I've only known of Alpha's to shift at a young age and not even Dominick nor Aria shifted before they were 18. None of the neighboring packs Alpha's have shifted before they were of rightful age. She could be in danger if the wrong people find out about her. I have to protect her I know she's my mate she has to be but something is stopping me from confirming it. Could it be her wolf that is keeping me from her? Does she know that she is our mate but doesn't want me to know? All these questions running through my head I almost forgot that we were outside at the waterfall. I looked around for her and found her behind the wall. She looked up at me with slight fear in her eyes.

"Are you okay?" I asked cautiously

" I'm fine you just look scary when your mad" Katie said looking up at me the fear still there but slowly fading

"We need to get you back home and maybe you can try school again tomorrow." I said and held my hand out to her.

She grabbed my hand and we started walking back.

'Tommy Meet me at the school in your truck. I have Katie with me I didn't bring my vehicle I shifted and ran here' I linked

We walked through the clearing it's a good 10 minute walk. I'm still not sure how in the hell she got here.I looked over at her and she seemed like she was in her own little world. She had a frown on her face that just didn't sit well with her features I just wanted to kiss it away. Hell I just want to kiss her period I want her. Hell I need her My wolf needs her We need her. I stopped and pulled her around to face me. She looked up at me with confusion on her face I smiled at her and grabbed both her hands.

"Can you feel the sparks and tingles?" I asked her and ran my finger over the back of her hand.

"Yes, but i thought that was only for mates?" Katie said looking at our hands.

"Yes, it is only for mates to feel. I feel them too and I feel so protective of you. Me and my wolf do you have to be our mate there's no other explanation for it" I said and pulled her closer.

She looked up at me and smiled and her eyes sparkled with confusion and happiness. I smiled down at her my arms wrapping around her waist. I tangled one of my hands in her hair and pulled her closer. There was only an inch in between us I could feel her breath on my lips. I wanted to close the distance but I knew that I couldn't I knew that I had to be sure that she was mine. I've already stolen her first kiss I can't keep pushing her I have to figure out what is hiding her scent from me. It doesn't make since we both feel the sparks we both feel the protectiveness and we both want one another but I can't smell her scent to identify that she is my mate. The one thing that draws mates to each other completely is their scent and we don't have that. I'm not sure why we don't have that but I will find out what is causing her scent not stand out to me. I mean she don't stink or anything but her scent doesn't appeal to me like it should. Her scent doesn't draw me to her like it should. Mates scents should appeal to each other draw them together like a moth to a flame.

"So you believe we are mates?" Katie whispered smiling

"I do but untill we find out for sure I don't want you around men or any unmated males. I want you with ethier me or you bother or his mate at all times. I will fix your schedule to mimk someones so you always have them with you or you could just do home school" I said truning her around so we could meet her brother. We were almost there when i herd her brother pull up.
