It is all chaos and constant changes. Life is a set of chaos and all great changes are preceded by chaos. It's just a matter of going out to the comfort zone, spread your wings and make it a good one. After that, you will taste the sweet fruit of it.

My vision was set. Today, I will conquer the chaos and turn it to a great change.

Puwesto ako sa service area. After a series of warm-up and the usual routine of a volleyball player, the tryout started. The first drill to test is the serve and will be followed by the serve receive.

Huminga ako ng malalim nang ibigay sa akin ang bola. I dribble it multiple times. Tumingin ako sa kabilang court kung saan naroon ang nauna nang nag-serve sa akin. Siya ang magre-receive and from that, the committee will test her reception.

I heard the whistle and that's my cue to hit the ball for my serve. Isang hinga ng malalim ay pinalo ko ang bola without jumping on my position. I did what I am best at- the float serve.

Pinanood ko kung paanong hindi umikot sa ere ang bola. I squinted my eyes when the girl didn't receive it properly. I smirk

"Nice," I heard Aireen Reyes said. Siya kasi ang kasama ko rito. Muli niyang ipinasa sa akin ang bolang hawak. Gaya kanina, ganoon uli ang ginawa ko. Sunod-sunod iyon at nang siguro'y satisfied na, pinatigil na ako. At sa lahat ng iyon, tatlo lamang ang nasalo noong babae.

That's a good start, I guess.

I left the service area and proceeded to the other side of the court for my serve receive drill. Dumaan ako sa harap ni Coach Arthur at ni Ally. Beside them is Michelle Revilla and Melissa Morada.

"We're watching you, Ocampo," Coach Arthur smirked on me.

"Watch me closely then."

Tumawa ang kaniyang mga katabi.

Pumuwesto na ako sa kabilang court para sa susunod na drill. Muli akong sumeryoso nang si Pastel ang sunod na magse-serve at ako naman ang sasalo noon.

I must say that Pastel is an ace too. She has skills that can be flex inside the court. She's a great setter, a great player but she's too obsessed in making me the second best. Simula nang bumalik siya sa paglalaro at makasama ko, napapansin ko ang pagka-uhaw niyang malamangan ako.

Isang taon ko nang kasama si Pastel sa paglalaro. She went back playing when Kapitana and Alyanna left the team. I don't know why she quitted before that. Ang sabi ay personal na rason daw. Sa pagkakaalam ko, napilit siya ni Coach na bumalik sa team dahil napilayan talaga kami nang umalis ang mga kaibigan ko. Dahil rin doon kaya na-offeran siya para sa national team. Iyon nga lang, naging sunod-sunod ang issue at dahil pareho kaming setter, isa lang ang kukuhanin.

Bago ako, siya muna raw ang setter ng varsity team. I don't know if that's an advantage for me or what. I know her serve pero baka iniba niya iyon ngayon.

We are all thirsty but hers was too much.

When I heard the whistle, I bend my knee and wait for the ball to come. Unfortunately, it was a net ball. Hindi iyon lumiban man lang. Napatayo tuloy ako ng tuwind. I eyed her from my post, furrowing my forehead.
