I stayed at the mansion after the press conference. I am with Zian and Jenny, talking about all the possibilities regarding my retirement. Everyone except us is busy with their own business after the conference kaya kami na lamang ang narito.
"It will be aired tomorrow, D. Sa petsang itinakda mo," Zian said and showed me his planner. All of the schedules he has was written on it. Tama siya, nakalagay

"Thank you, Zian." I sincerely said and smiled at him.
"Nah. My Sports Academy is waiving at you, D. Hindi na ako lugi."
"Manggagamit ka talaga, Zian," Jenny made a face on him. Tumawa ako.
"Of course, Zian. And you can't hire Jenny. She will stay with me."
Umingos si Zian sa aming dalawa kaya pareho kaming natawa. It's almost five and we are just waiting for the others to return. They vanished earlier when they made sure that I am safe and okay. Ngayon, hinihintay ko sila para pag-usapan ang mga maaari pang mangyari pagkatapos kong maideklara ang pag-alis ko sa volleyball.
"Anyways, are you going to tell Ishmael your decision? Or malalaman na lang din niya kapag nailabas na?"
"I'm planning to tell him tonight," sagot ko.
"You should tell him. The man waited for you."
I rose a brow to Zian. Of course, they knew he waited. It was never a secret to them.
"I know. Half of my decision is for him. I should be deserving of him."
"You are deserving of him, D. Hindi ka niya hihintayin kung hindi."
Natahimik ako at napangiti ng lihim dahil doon. I know that now. That's why I am doing things so I can love him better. He deserves the better.
Isang sulyap ang ginawa ko sa cellphone ko. I am worried, honestly. Wala pa akong natatanggap na tawag o kahit text man lamang galing kay Ishmael. I am confused of what is happening. May nangyari kaya? Is he okay? Is everything okay?
Dinampot ko ang cellphone at nagpadala ng mensahe sa kaniya.
Ako: Ishmael, are you okay? Text me or call me if you have free time.
We ate dinner altogether. Everyone seems happy with my decisions. No one ever asked anything about it. We talk random things and ended the night peacefully.
Kalalabas ko lamng ng banyo nang mapansin kong ang pag-ilaw ng cellphone ko. Expecting it was Ishmael, I hurriedly took the phone from the night stand only to know that it was Barron who is calling.
Napairap ako at napakagat ng labi pagkatapos.
"Barron," I greeted.
"Hey there Duchess Chrishane," I heard him chuckled lowly.
"Anong meron at napatawag ka?"
"I just got the news about Kuya Gaston. Naaksdiente and was admitted to Samanniego Medical. I'll go there tomorrow. Sama ka?"
