In Love Series 3: Completely

Kabanata 5

After we cooled down our body from the tiredness and exhaustion, Coach called us again for his last words for today.

Naka-upo kami sa sahig habang nasa harap namin si Coach Arthur na may ngiti sa labi.

"Firsts of all, I would like to congratulate each one of you for this fortunate chance to witness your incredible skills and determination to be in the team. You all did great today. Congratulations!"

The whole sport complex was filled by our grateful claps.

What Coach said was true. Everyone in here did great. Lahat ay nagpamalas ng kaniya-kaniyang galing. I am a bit scared for we all have the exceptional move inside the court but I trust my skills for this matter.

I won't lose today.

"We will release the final list of the team after two weeks. After that, we will set a meeting for those players who made it regarding about the training and everything. Good luck! Dismiss!"

Muli kaming nagpalakpakan. Kaniya- kaniyang paalam ang mga kalahok. Lumapit ako kay Coach Arthur upang magpasalamat para sa araw na ito. Seryoso ako at hindi na nagbigay ng kahit anong emotion.

"You did great Pastel," bati niya kay Pastel at kinamayan ito. Nauna kasi itong makalapit sa akin. Nang madapo ang kaniyang tingin sa akin, agad siyang nagpaalam kay Pastel. Pastel turned her gaze on me. Her smile faded and ne second, she's glaring at me. I did not return the way she looked at me. She's been like that since she joined the team again.

I remain emotionless as we battled, eye to eye. Kung hindi humarang si Coach sa harap ko ay hindi maaalis ang titigan naming dalawa.

"I'm rooting for you, Ocampo. Surprise me after two weeks," ngumisi siya. Mahina ang pagkakasabi niya ngunit alam kong narinig iyon ng mga nasa malapit lalo ni Pastel. When I turn my eyes on her, her glaring eyes become intense.

Hindi talaga matatapos ang pakikipag-kompetensya niya sa akin. It will never not unless she drags me down in the mud and defeat me.

"Thanks," I said icily. "I'll go ahead, Coach Arthur."

I turn my back on him.

"Attitude as always," I heard Ally said. I smirked inwardly. That's what I am good at.

Hindi na ako nag-abalang magbihis pa nang matapos ang tryout. I checked the time as everyone started to packed their things.

It's six o'clock past twelve already. Abot pa ako sa dinner.

Sinimulan ko nang ayusin ang gamit ko kahit wala naman talagang aayusin. I checked all my belongings and when I am sure that nothing is missing, I closed the zipper. I put the strap on my shoulder. Kinuha ang bola at ang tumbler na wala nang laman. Hinanap ng mga mata ang mga kasabay.

"You really know how to use the name of your clan huh."

Sa halip na makita ang mga kasama, si Pastel na may seryoso at galit na tono ang bumungad na naman sa akin. Napabuntong hininga ako.

Hindi ba talaga siya matatapos?

Hindi gaya kanina na walang emosyon, ngayon ay nag taas na ako ng kilay at pinantayan ang kaniyang pagkaseryoso.
