I'm believing in the lies of the enemy, and I don't want to. I feel like giving up and I don't want to give up. I just don't understand how to get out of this mess. I know the cause of it, but every time I try to reject the lie and replace it with truth, nothing is working. I just don't know what to do. - anonymous

You preserve.

It's not just about doing it. You keep on doing it. Perseverance pleases God because it teaches patience and patience is vital. God can or could be allowing this so that you grow in perseverance and learn the vital virtue of patience. Not everything in your relationship with God is a scripture or a sermon and bam, gone. Others take effort so we can grow spiritually. The victory is there sis. You won't be overtaken because God is for you. He doesn't want this to break you but build on your perseverance. Is it not working? Keep ongoing. We don't just pray once or just 10 times or a week but we keep on knocking till God opens the door, we keep asking till he answers. We keep holding these truths captive till God breaks them in our hearts and turns we remain in truth. We keep fighting the good fight. We keep resisting the lies and replacing them with truth over and over.

Do you know why?

Because the enemy gets tired. He isn't going to attack you non-stop forever. He will flee for a time, though he will come back because he hates the children of God and will do all he can to lead them to destruction. He will flee when we resist. But if we just resist for a little then believe again, that motivates him because he knows he's getting to us. Keep praying, keep praying and just don't stop

There are some things I prayed for and instantly I got responses from God. Instant peace and freedom and there are times where I had to wait for months. It was God teaching me how to pray and important things by using challenges and tests. He won't let you get burned but he allows the fire to purify you to become more like him. I had to wait for months for one challenge I had but looking back I wouldn't have a lot of the wisdom I have now and understanding. I would be skilling the process and just wanting instant results when it doesn't always work like that in the kingdom of God. We have victory but there is still a process. God said to Moses they already won (past tense) which is spiritually but they still needed to fight the battle.

Our battle isn't flesh and blood. It's not just your thoughts but they are attacks of the enemy and the kingdom of darkness to mislead you. If they are attacking you so hard it means you have something, no, someone in you they can't stand and are scared of and if you realise the power of his name. They will start trembling. Whenever you hold thoughts captive in obedience the enemy starts getting frustrated because he has to submit to that name. He has to obey it no matter what and that is what frustrates him but when we pray with a lack of faith, even if we use the name of Jesus, nothing will happen.

You're on the right track. Just keep staying in it and keep doing it. Pray and pray some more. Pray when tired. Pray when happy. Pray when you're losing hope and pray when you're filled with faith but never grow tired because this battle is one of your faith and our faith is what we need to have our gorgeous crown of life soon.
