What Is A Key Way To Spend Time With God More?
⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣⌣

The best way is to love it. When we love something it becomes easy and a pleasure for us to do it.

Example

If you love God. You will spend time with God. If you love prayer. You will spend a lot of time with his prayer. If you love your ministry you will spend time with it. Whatever you love you will continuously spend time with it.

Just like if you love gaming. You'll find Yourself gaming a lot. If you love music. You will listen to it all the time. If you like reading. I will always find you with a book. When you love your best friend. You will love spending time with her. When you love going to the beach. I know I'll find you walking there a lot.

You will continuously spend time with what you love. What will I find you doing more? What do you love more?  Things of this world or things of God?

The best way to find yourself reading and praying more is to love doing those very things.

You would also ask, but how do I start loving spending time with God? Right now spending time with God for you could feel more like a discipline than a lifestyle.

It will feel that way at the beginning but eventually, it will become something you enjoy.

Work on your discipline
When I started first spending time with God. It wasn't easy. I wasn't disciplined to have a set time with God every day and stick to it.

What helped is setting alarms on my phone. I chose specific times I know I won't be busy. Most mornings, I have many things to do so I can't do my in-depth Bible studies during the morning.

I do though, as soon as I wake up to pray and do my devotional. I give my start of the day to God, asking for his direction and protection. I also do a quick devotional then leave my room.

In the mornings, which are usually hectic for me. I listen to Christian podcasts or a sermon while doing my chores or preparing to go out.

The alarms are usually set for the afternoon which can also be hectic at times so I mainly just pray. The night is where I do in-depth Bible studies, write notes, pray for others etc.

Which lasts for about 30-1 hour +

But throughout my day I will listen to worship music if I feel led to pray. I pray.

Now, this didn't come easy. I had to seriously discipline myself. I would fail many times, reach out to social media before my devotionals or ignore my in-depth studies.

The beginning was the toughest because didn't schedule my quiet times right. I believed my in-depth studies had to be in the morning because other people's were in the morning but it would never work out.

I had to exam my life and see how I can add my day to my quiet time with God.

Though, even if you have a busy morning. Always remember to pray first. No matter how busy you are, always put God first, thank him for waking you up and direction. Though my mornings can be very hectic, I should always make time for God first thing.

Don't neglect that.

Ask someone to hold you accountable.

If you have a Christian friend, you can ask them to remind you or check up on you if you have done your quiet time yet. This could be them reminding you or you do it with them.

Accountability can be very helpful and help you discipline yourself. There were times where my sister would remind me to pray or she would say how I haven't read my Bible yet.

This pushed me to do it more.

Alright. Those are the two tips I have for you. Set alarms, find what works best for your routine, promise God and reach to him in the morning, have some Godly people in your life that can hold you accountable.
