Christmas Time

Hi Im back! Y'all I am ready for fucking Christmas. Enjoy this short one-shot of Baby Lin and Caregiver Kya. And a special guest.

"No you can't open presents tonight!"

"But I wan' to."

"I said no Lin." Lin started to kick and fuss and Kya sighed, putting her back in the crib, raising the bars. "Until you decide to calm down, you're staying in there." That only made Lin more upset and she started to cry. "Lin Rei Beifong. You wipe those tears. You know you get to open presents tomorrow."

Lin tried to calm down but the tears kept on coming. Kya took notice of this and lifted her up, patting her back. The care giver bounced her slightly, kissing her forehead.

"Shhh it's okay. Take a deep breath with me okay?" Kya breathed in slowly and Lin copied her. Both of them exhaled and did that process a few more times. Soon it was down to hiccuping and Kya kept bouncing Lin slightly. "Good job baby. You're doing so good. It's okay."

"I sorry." Kya heard a small voice say. She almost cried as how guilty Lin sounded.

"Baby it's okay. No more tears okay?" She felt the younger woman nod and Kya laid Lin on the bed. "Do you need to be changed? No lying either."

"Nuh uh."

"I'm checking anyways. You never know." Kya checked and sure enough, Lin needed a diaper change.

*A Few Minutes Later*

"Alright baby all done. Better?" Lin nodded and Kya kissed her forehead. "I'm going to put you in the crib while I get some things so you don't fall okay?"

"Mkay!"

Kya put Lin back in the crib with her pacifier and blanket then walked out of their room. She went outside in her jacket and flickered the porch lights as a signal. Someone came from the shadows and Kya brought the person inside.

"I'm going to make her nighttime bottle then you can follow me into the room." Kya whispered to the person. They nodded and watched as Kya prepared the milk, testing it to make sure it wasn't too hot. They went into the room and Lin squealed loudly when she saw Izumi walk in behind Kya.

"Hey baby!! Merry Christmas!" The Firelord said as she lifted Lin out of the crib, peppering kisses all over her face. "I missed you."

"I miss you!" Kya had taken Izumi's bags and put them in the corner of the room while her and Lin had their moment. Izumi pressed a long kiss to Lin's cheek and hugged her tightly. "I lov' you Mama."

Kya turned to Izumi in shock and they looked at each other for a moment before the fire lord let a tear slip down her cheek. That was the first time Lin called anyone mama.

Izumi: "I love you too princess. I love you so much."

Lin: "Mommy!" She reached for Kya and the blue eyed woman dropped the bottle in her hand.

Izumi: "Holy shit... Uh uh don't say it Lin." The amber eyed woman said as she saw Lin get ready to repeat it. Kya snapped out of her shock and picked up the now spilled bottle.

Kya: "I-I'm going to clean that up..." She walked past the both of them but not before kissing Lin a long kiss on the cheek. "I love you princess." She whispered. She soon returned with another bottle and a bunch of napkins. Izumi adjusted Lin in her arms and took the bottle from Kya.

Izumi: "Cmon baby it's time for bed." Izumi put the younger woman down on the bed and quickly changed into her pjs. Once the firelord was in bed, Lin crawled into her lap. Kya soon joined them as their little was dozing off, Izumi holding the bottle of milk. "Goodnight Linny." Izumi kissed Lin's forehead as she fell asleep. Kya did the same after they adjusted Lin to lay between them.
