Ch. 6: Nightmare King

*sabres pov*

-field further away from the battle-

Blue, violet and I left the others to battle that patrol.

This is really bad...

I mean... I know wicked steve can easily wipe them all out but... I'm still worried.

What if one of them gets hurt?

Wait... Can darkness get hurt???

Ugh.

I just hope they're ok.

We continue to get further away from the battle.

We reach a wall off trees.

I hear thunder in the distance.

I flinch a bit but continue to follow blue.

We run through the forest for a few minutes.

Suddenly there's a tone of lightning in front of us.

I quickly hide behind violet.

It pushes me behind a tree.

It's a dark oak tree so there's big roots to hide behind.

Violet walks back to where the lightning was.

Agate is shaking in my hold...

I hug him and try to keep my focus on my puppy.

I hear the small wolf whimper.

"... It's oke... Shh... It's just noise... We'll be okay..." I whisper to the small furball.

Although, that reassuring isn't just for agate... But for the both of us.

I'm scared... ;¬;

I hear a loud booming voice from the direction violet went in.

"I KNOW THERE'S A REASON YOU TWO ARE OUT HERE. THIS ISN'T JUST A COINCIDENCE! I KNOW THE CATALYST IS AROUND HERE SOMEWHERE."

I flinch at the voices tone...

I panic and look around.

There's a small hole in the ground a few blocks away.

I run over and jump into it.

It's basically just a 5 Blocks diameter hole...its 2 blocks deep. There's a Puddle of water inside.

I hide in a little space that covers me from the outside view.

I take a deep breath, slide down the dirt wall and sit down.

I flinch as more lightning strikes.

This time it's closer than before.

Agate jumps out of my arms and starts barking.

I quickly go to grab him and hide again.

The lightning gets closer.

Agate barks in my arms again.

I hold his snout shut.

"shh..." I shush the dog.

He looks at me offended. >:/

He stops trying to bark and just quietly growls.

I hear footsteps-...very rapid footsteps... Someone's running.

Then there's lightning.

The footsteps are gone.

"HEY, DON'T YOU DARE TELEPORT AWAY" The booming voice from before screams again.
