Chapter 1

"Benvenuta in Italia, signora!"

I took off my sunglasses and smiled at the flight attendants who greeted me as I stepped on the airport of Italy. This was probably my first time in Italy because I was so busy back then in Manila because of tapings and photoshoots.

Well, summer day was not a rest day for me. Pumunta lang naman ako rito for the meeting with the manager of the brand na ini-endorse ko. I was with Leah, my personal assistant. Good thing, my bodyguards were all around for my safety purposes. 'Yun nga lang hindi ako sigurado kung walang paparazzi na nakasunod.

"Madam, the driver is on his way pa lang daw po." Kinakabahang sabi niya.

"Find another car for me. I need to rest. I wasn't born para maghintay." I said calmly.

"Madam, sabi mo kasi 9:30AM ka magpapasundo, 9AM pa lang-"

"So it's my fault now? Blame the pilot why he was driving the airplane so fast!" I almost raised my voice kaya napatingin sa amin ang ibang tao na nandoon sa airport. "Go find another driver. Kailangan kong mag pahinga, may meeting pa ako bukas."

"Y-yes, Mada- Ay, ayan na pala 'yung van!" She pointed the white van.

I rolled my eyes, trying to calm myself. Agad na akong sumakay nang huminto ito sa harap ko. The weather in Italy wasn't that hot, not that cold either. I wanted to stay here for so long but I couldn't. May pasok pa ako after the summer.

I am a 2nd year college in De La Salle University. I took film since I was already an actress so it wouldn't be so hard for me. I was also a highest paid model because my sister, Amanda, was the one who introduced me to her connections.

"Madam, you will be the one to choose where do you want to stay. We already occupied the hotel in Rome and Venice." My assistant informed me.

"Saan ba maganda?" I asked her.

"Rome po, maraming pwede pasyalan!" She looked so excited.

"No. I want to go to Venice. I came here for work, not for a vacation."

"Sige po, your choice."

I didn't hesitated to talk again. It took an hours before we arrived at the hotel in Venice. I put on my shades again as we got out of the car. I bit my lower lip when I saw how big the hotel was. It was bigger than I thought.

"This will be your room, Madam. If you need me, my room is next to yours." Leah informed me.

"Okay," I nodded.

Nang makalabas na siya sa hotel room ko, agad kong ibinagsak ang katawan ko sa kama. I was staring at the ceiling while waiting for my sister's reply. I texted her na nakarating na ako sa Italy. She didn't asked pero share ko lang naman!

I was planning to buy coffee downstairs. May mga nagtitinda naman sa lobby ng hotel but I wanted to go outside without my assistant and bodyguards. I mean, I can go outside naman without them. Only if hindi ko sasabihin sa kanila.

I slowly opened the door of my hotel room. I checked if there's bodyguard outside of my room, buti wala naman kaya kaagad akong nakalabas. I tried so hard not to make any noise with my steps.
