"What did you pray ba?"
I looked at him, laughing. Kanina ko pa siya tinatanong kung ano 'yung pinag-pray niya pero mukhang wala siyang balak sabihin sa 'kin 'yon dahil daw baka hindi magkatotoo. Para naman siya nagwi-wish.
"I prayed you to shut up," He glanced at me for a second before sipping his coffee.
After we went to church, kumain muna kami sa starbucks. The church wasn't that well-known kasi wala naman masyadong tao pagpunta namin doon. I guess he planned this kasi alam niyang hindi naman ako pwede kapag maraming tao.
Pumunta pa kami ng Batangas after namin kumain dahil wala naman kaming pasok bukas. I just wanted to spend more time with him. Kung pwede nga lang hindi na umuwi hindi na talaga uuwi, e. But dad will probably kill me if ever hindi ako umuwi ng bahay. He knows that I'm with my boyfriend.
"Your girlfriend is kind, loving, and caring! You're so lucky naman!' I jokingly said.
"You're my girlfriend," He laughed a bit.
"Exactly!"
"Silly. Come here," He opened his arms wider to give me a warm embrace.
He kissed my lips before hugging me tight. Binaon niya ang mukha niya sa leeg ko. I loved his smell. He was like a home.
"Last year na lang natin sa college next year, ah. Anong plano mo pagkatapos nito? Uuwi ka bang Italy?" Tanong ko sa kaniya nang bumitaw ako sa yakap niya.
"I'll be here. I'll support your every movies," He answered, playfully rolling his eyes. He knows na babalik nanaman ako sa ka-loveteam ko. May possibilities may kissing scene nanaman.
"Huwag ka na mag-selos! Pwede ka namang mag-apply biglang kontrabida, ah?" Natatawang sabi ko.
"This face? Magiging kontrabida?" He pointed his face, nagyayabang pa nga. "I'm your boyfriend. We had sex already so stop addressing me as 'kontrabida'."
"Hoy, grabe ka naman!" He was too direct to the point! Wala man lang preno ang bibig ng lalaking 'to!
Anyway, last year na lang talaga namin next year. Magsisimula nanaman ulit ako bilang artista. At siya naman ay magsisimula na ng proper training para sa military nila. Hindi ko alam kung dito siya sa Pilipinas mag te-training pero kahit saan pa 'yan susuportahan ko pa rin naman siya.
The next morning we went to Fortalejo's hospital. Ngayon pa lang namin kakausapin si Doctor Fortalejo about sa case ng lola ni Leah. Drix was with me. Nandoon din pala si Alistair sa hospital nila. Nakipag-apir naman kaagad si Drix sa kaniya.
"I wasn't informed that you guys.. are boyfriend-girlfriend thingy?" His brows furrowed. He looked like he know nothing about us.
"My girlfriend," Drix introduced me to Alistair as his girlfriend.
Alistair glanced at me, mukhang walang pake sa presensya ko. It was too awkward! I remember how I confessed to him before. I was a dumb teenager that time. Pero I'm pretty sure that he really was my first love!
"Alistair.. I have something to tell you." I nervously said.
"Spill it out, Maureen. I have something important to do," seryosong sabi niya.
